Being intellectually and emotionally atrophied as of late, I have been leaving my electric oven on to generate heat in my small apartment.

Apart from the computer and refrigerator, which is seldom on, the hardly aged oven consumes more electricity than either.

Such is what I suspected.

The first order of business, of course, it to pay the bloody $188 electric bill. There is no circumvention. No employing my intellect to construct any free energy device or any method. I am too melancholy. Followed by my rent, for a single, which leave me with a little over half the amount to do nothing with.

God forgive me, but GOD DAMN IT, CAN I NOT LIVE THESE FINAL FEW MONTHS/YEARS IN SOLITUDE AND RELISH THE RESIDUAL FREEDOMS THAT REMAIN?

No! No DIGNIFIED existence, no peace, no personal privacy. Instead, violate one's individual sovereignty at every turn.

FUCKING BESMIRCHED ARISTOCRATIC, OCCULT ELITE! MAY YOU BURN HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY, WHILE WEARING THE PAINS YOU PLACED ON OTHERS!

As I indicated in my initial post, I reside in a small, one bedroom apartment. Sparingly, when it is "freezing cold" I will turn on my electric oven and lower the door to heat my living room. I place the dial on 500 degrees for 15-20 minutes until sufficiently warm. At which point, it is turned off.

Well don't leave your electric oven on if you can't afford the electric bill!

On a personal note, I filled by means of Turbo-tax electronically. As I have done with each passing year. My data was transmitted on Janissary 9th, 2010. The IRS accepted the return on January 18, 2010. And now, I received the direct deposit today, January 26, 2010.

I suppose it would be prudent to remove the deposited funds from my per-paid account and keep the funds in cash form.

God forbid what is coming - there may be an emergency I may need it.

After the rent has been payed for the month, the remaining amount I have to spare is precisely $600. Which I will need to place in a safe place for the sole purpose of my work hours being cut and having to supplement a pay check.

The typical strategy every god damn year.

Sorry to hear about the cut hrs. op. Too bad that isn't counted in the gov'ts reports on jobs. I have friends who are laid off and less hrs.

Good luck

An oven is not an efficient way to heat an apartment, get yourself a spaceheater if you want electric heat, they don't cost much at Target. Also, there are billions of dollars available for heating aid from the government, whether you use gas or electric. Super easy to apply for, you don't have to talk to anybody, for just the cost of a stamp the feds have paid about $300 a year for my heating bill. If the money is out there and you need, you might as well take advantage of it.
