Overdue? My bad poetic exaggeration - I just meant that it could go soon if its history is anything to go by (seems to pop every 0.7M years/ish - so we do have a little wait if it's going to precise).
That is of course unless the EQ swarm that is happening at present continues or worsens enough for Geoelectromagnetic energy or geothermalfrictional dooberies (I am joking)'warms' things up - or HAARP gets a bad blow-back?

I'm just wondering what people think of the current situation really - not suggesting immanency.

1000 Litre3 = 1 cubic tonne
1 cubic tonne = 1 000 000 000 kg3

Is this correct?

Wtf is up with you americans and the simple and coherent metric system? It is based on the meter for measuring distances, which is about 3ft 4" long. And volumes and weights are based on derivates of the meter according to the following logic: 1 meter cubed is 1000 liters in volume, and if that volume of one cubic meter is filled up with water, it weighs 1000 kilograms, or 1 metric ton. Around 2200 US pounds.

Nothing is called a "cubic tonne", that makes just about as much sense as a cubic pound...

A cubic kilometer is 1000*1000*1000 meters of volume, wich eguates to a billion cubic meters, or if filled with water a billion tons. Or 1000 billion kg's.

Get it straight, it's the only system worth using.
