Just S of Memphis we've got a layer of sleet under the snow. Supposed to snow all day and 2 more inches tonite. Then down to 13 by Sun. morning.

everything still...white skies. cousin dropped me by some food and a 12pk corona for the snow in...sounds omen-ness, but fun.

Whiners... Your major storms are our small bumps in the road. Get over it.. Get a warm blanket, hot chocolate, snuggle with a loved one and make the best of it.. Here in Canada we go through this kind of thing on a regular basis. No Biggy, it is just snow. Build a snow man or go tobogganing.
Also a big old bowl of Hot Chili is nice this time of year.

Here in the rural Ozarks this morning, 1/2 inch of sleet followed by six inches of snow and it;s still coming down! We all KNOW better than to drive...no guard rails or snow plows...we GET it! STAY HOME!

I guess the cities need to "cull their herd"...so be it!
