Another retarded comment from a dopehead. Weed sure has contributed to deaths. There have been a lot of deaths from people who do cocaine and then come down from it smoking weed and it was the combination that did it. Weed messes with your heart rate and your brain functions, stop kidding yourself dopey.

My ex BF was a big pothead and I hated what it did to him. Made him stupid actually, he would do dumbass things like put the milk in the freezer or put something away somewhere stupid and we'd find it months later. Plus if you watch a movie while stoned you probably won't remember it very well. Plus if you smoke all day one day then the next day you don't, you become very moody and unpleasant to be around and even worse, deny that you are acting that way. I was cool with it when we smoked it a couple times a month. When he was smoking it everyday I hated it and who he became. A couple times a month though, I found it really made sex great but not if you smoked it too much more than that.

Oh yeah, and guys who smoke it a lot sometimes get man boobs.
There is nothing perfectly ok with using marijuana. Anything that alters your mind is a drug, period, and has consequences.

A bit off-topic, but speaking of auras, can anyone explain why when I dropped acid a few times in my late teens I always became irresistible to all the guys around me? This didn't happen when I wasn't doing acid, only when I was. Would acid change a person's aura? It was kind of evil in a way, it wasn't a good feeling at all. I wanted to run and hide from them.

... so, i would hypothesize that it maybe that pot doesn't actually 'pop' any 'holes' in the energy field, but allows for your intuition to relax some carefully 'shaped' openings in your energy field so that only the thought-forms that resonate so that you will be able to process them and extinguish as a part of your reality--casting the demons out in a controlled manner.
If one already has a thought-form attached to his body that gained a lot of control over the resident soul, and dominates, then this person gets 'unwell' after a few tokes.

That's why many people grow their own, organically. It's just like with food, you can buy the altered and poisoned kind at Wal Mart, or you can grow your own the way nature intended. I haven't bought anything from a street dealer in years.

Op it sounds to me like you might be a weed smoker and a spiritual person concerned about the implications of weed on your path. My advice to you is be aware of guilt driven "don't lists" based on shoulds and should nots. As you grow you will automatically release what you no longer need when you outgrow it. And maybe you won't release weed, maybe you will. Only you know what's right for you.
