23.7 trillion is a bullshit number designed to elicit exactly the responses posted above.

The actual number is about 3 trillion. Which isn't chump change. And most of it went to GM/GMAC. That's the unions. And Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. That's Barney frank and friends. Not the banks.

This is a pretty interesting development. Now that both sides are talking about the banks being the problem...it seems like all signs point to a collective shift of increasing dissent against the (big) banks.
