I've been looking at the geography of my local area for a while. It seems like the Pacific comes out, and all the way up to around the continental divide. Maybe a little short.
Then the water sloshes around a few times in what geologists call, 'The great basin'. Creating things like the Utah Arches and the Grand Canyon.
If it (water) is doing that here. The rest of the world must be pretty bad as well.
Of course it is all pure amature speculation on my part.
Like I said earlier, I will err on the side of caution.
I'd like to also be above 10,000'.
Then eventually evaporating away to leave the great salt lake.
