What bugs me is NASA's insistence that solar max will be in 2012 when solar cycle 24 hardly has started (2 years late) and these cycles can be up to 15 years long (11 years is normal.) Also what makes the solar max in 2012 different from the previous ones - my understanding is they predict it will a vicious one.

These questions have also been raised numerous times in serious forums debating climate change and nobody seems to have a clue why NASA thinks 2012 will special in this respect.

If only that were the case. Earlier in the thread, people were actually asking for advice from the OP. Some were saying they were considering uprooting their families and moving to higher ground. Yes, there are actually people who buy into this.

OP did a good work questioning possiblities. His conclusions do not reinforce the current power structures control systems so they are dangerous.

He is attacked on several sides with different simultaneous arguments (nice trolling to the Shills BTW).

It's really too much to handle for someone who is on a search for truth, and trying to hold down a job, and warning people he cares about while responding to critics.

"Now according to every known "law" of physics, what happened during this "live" experiment on ABC is flatly impossible! What Patterson's machine did was to take a natural process -- the decay of depleted uranium -- and basically remove the radioactivity in a little over two hours. This process should normally take over 4 billion years!

Even more exciting, this experiment has now been duplicated and patents have been issued for several of Patterson's machines.

What this means is that using radioactive decay as a method for dating anything is highly unreliable, because the core assumption -- that decay is constant and immutable -- is flat wrong!

In fact, there are significant discrepancies between measurements made of natural rates of radioactive decay in the 50's and today. The first measurements, taken by the "father" of radiocarbon dating (Libby), listed the half life of Carbon 14 as 5,568 years. By 1962, only 11 years later, the half-life was "recalibrated" to be 5,730 years. By the mid eighties, some charts were giving a figure of 6,380 years, a difference of 1.14 percent in only 36 years! The working assumption has always been that these earlier readings were "wrong" because we all "know" that the rate of decay is constant. Since this is now proven (via the Patterson demonstration) to be a fallacious assumption, we cannot rely on the accuracy of the "radiocarbon" dates for any of these earlier catastrophic events.

So, simply put, we must reevaluate the dating of ALL ruins and catastrophes in light of this new discovery -- and in light of Hyperdimensional Physics. Because inherent in the HD model is the notion that there are no true "physical constants." As we approach and recede from the "resonance crisis" points in the precessional cycle, the "constants" of the physical world constantly shift -- in an approximate sine wave pattern. Minutely at first, but then noticeably, the "constants measured over even a few years will show measurable shifts -- including the most "inviolate" constant of all, the speed of light.

This 30-year discrepancy in the natural radioactive decay rates is therefore attributed not to the use of a Patterson Machine -- this merely proved that technological change of the same rates was possible -- but rather to the accelerating space-time effects of the Hyper-Physics itself.

There is other evidence. In the last 20 years, after apparently remaining stable for millennia, the rate of the Earth's rotation has begun to slow. More than 20 seconds have been added to atomic clocks in that space of time in order to keep them synchronized with the Earth's actual rotation. And the number of corrections necessary is increasing.

The current solar cycle (Cycle 23) is the most active on record, with sunspot counts (centered preferentially near 19.5°) at all time highs as we approach the peak, sometime later this year. Excessive solar storms and flares have been bombarding us at never before recorded strengths. If this trend continues, we expect the next cycle (Cycle 24 -- peaking in 2011) to be even more violent and disruptive. On the other hand, the HD model predicts that this furious solar activity might not continue as it has, that this is "the storm before the lull."

A similar (though still unexplained) hiatus in solar activity was reported soon after sunspot activity was first systematically recorded on the sun -- in the mid-1700s. It's been called "the Maunder Minimum" and created in effect a "little ice age" here on Earth. Because solar activity is critically dependent on planetary motions in the months ahead, one strong possibility is that the "Maunder Minimum" will return across the next 11 years ... leading to major new Hyperdimensional effects.

In our model, events like these will continue and accelerate. Since the Earth is not an island, but a part of a connected system, a true "Solar System," it is being effected by the angular momentum of the other bodies as we close in on this "resonance crisis point."

What is needed now is to recalibrate the dating of these past catastrophes using Hyperdimensional models. That would hopefully give us an accurate picture of just how close we might be to a new "rollover."
