Re: Get rid of the money system, then get rid of goverrments
Why do we want to help these apes called man, why better their miserable lot? They made the currency, they created their levels of status and fame and elitism, so let them suffer the consequences of their actions, and let those who are too afraid to make real change suffer with them.
Those who really care and want to make a difference of service will live every day contented in their efforts to make a better place, while the rest suffer.

Without a government, social contracts would spring up unto someone with more than another would have more to trade, but less to seek. They'll gain power over others and you will soon gain a government.

And money is another form of service for a service. How would you get food without trading for something? How would you trade for anything, without something?
You won't be able to, and the poor would die off. The middle class would slowly become poor, and die off. The rich would have everything, until they started drifting into wars to captures what others have.

If you are proposing anarchy, that is what you will get. If you are proposing a true form of communism, you will never get it. Humans are not ants, and never will be. And even ants are controlled by a leader.
 Quoting: Zerocyber

Err, you'll have to do better than speculate like that mate.

Never ever discount the human will to survive.

Freedom cannot be purchased with a currency that is centrally issued. Centralized money and centralized power is a symbiotic pair; neither can exist without the other. Freedom can only be purchased with a decentralized open source medium of exchange where the producers of value participate in the creation of the symbols by which that value is exchanged in proxy, and the banker serves in an agency role to producers of value.

haha, well done sir, i love to see the circumentions circumvented. i'm not so sure that gold is money, but pragamatically speaking, the only alternative currency system that i've ever really that has an example of having worked really very well is silvio gessell's demurrage system (negative interest rates to encourage the circulation, rather than hoarding, of money), though i think he missed that people need a way to save that is secure (i.e. not the stock market), where gold could work well, if its price were allowed to fluctuate freely.

and WTF, a decent discussion on GLP?

An economic system is to the physical economy as a topographical map is to the physical geography. If you threw a topographic map in a burning fireplace, would you look out the window expecting the rocks, roads, and marshlands to suddenly burst into flame?

All human needs are provided by the living; an inherited debt is an enslaving memepex that belongs in the circular file with the flat-earth maps.

i agree with this, mostly in simpler terms, apart from suggesting that freedom can be purchased. it is part of the natural order, while money is an idea, and freedom exists on a far realler level. i'll grant you that we can be hoodwinked. i come to the issue generally thinking of free energy, because money is only something that exists because we've been taught that economies work from the foundation of shortage, rather than abundance, and when mr. tesla finally gets his name honoured as it should be, i suspect the whole idea of money will gradually be forgotten. ferengi not with standing.

Economics is said to be representation of things that are scarce. Scarce defined as anything that if the price were zero, the supply would disappear.

Your post does deserve a +, and Tesla did say that energy available to joe six pack (J6P) needs to be increased...

However, I do not agree that the idea of money will soon disappear. My hope is to change ideas about what money actually is.

2 things the human race will have to combine and achieve before we evolve.

if we don't, it will be like a stagnant parasite within us all.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 876442

The whole problem stems from greed. People think they obtain status by having more than the next guy. If a new toy comes on the market, they rush out and buy one whether they need it or not. While greed exists and is allowed to run rampant, humanity as a while cannot evolve.
