There is some connection between LSD and influencing a higher intellect?

For example, a fellow I know admitted in college that he and buddies made their own. Keep in mind he is incredibly smart and they all aced chemistry - which inspired this "challenge" so to speak.

Years down the line when he started his family, his child was identified as a genius. By that I mean his son, at the age of 3, gave presentations on the solar system at the planetarium (new york, I think). He started working for Nasa at the age of 12, and is still there.

I´d say stick with shrooms. Acid can be a bit intense.

A more integrated person... a team player... able to relate and not hammer people with geekishness. It made me cooler. Somehow it slowed me down long enough to take in life more as it is, less as I wish it was or think it should be. Somehow I become more approachable.

yes.. LSD was one of the most influential intellectual/spiritual catalysts of my life... started with music..and the reefer of course ... hahaha... and then on to shrooms.. LSD.. and eventually i peaked with a transcendant mescaline trip... and i realised... drugs and entheogens are at best water wings... one must truely learn to swim on your own... then there is no need:D

LSD gave me an out of body experience once. My only one.

I had one of the most excellent days ever just sitting and watching the sunset over the ocean on acid. The reflection of the sun on the water looked just like fire.

I once danced like John Travolta at a wedding and picked up a beaitiful woman after drinking a large bottle of robotussin DM. We dated off and on for years.

Another time I drank a bottle of robo and picked up on the most gorgeous girl I have ever met. She was my best friends ex. When she figured out I was on robo, she assumed I was bullshitting. I couldn´t remember how I did it, or I would´ve repeated that little victory.

i don´t know but i´ve been told (wink) ... friend of mine out here found some cyanascens... blue/green and silverish... if you want PHREAKING INTENSE then try these... at least that was what i was told...

i´m aware of 5 people who tried some from that batch... one dude a real ´lightweight´ ate a small piece of the stem of one and was having flashbacks a couple of days later...

after ´near death experiences´ 2 of the other 4 all decided they didn´t want any more (took 20 or 30 shrooms apiece)... another... a real heavyweight (can pour multiple beers down his throat and drive, no problem)... said ´he got sick´ after tripping several times and didn´t want any more...

interestingly, he was the same person who got his ´ass kicked´ by salvia and dumped his small stash... speaking of salvia (salvia divinorum) is the full name... that will really ´knock you up side the head´ (among other things or so i hear)... and the beauty of that one is that it lasts about 5 minutes... maybe a half hour ´tops´....

really ratchets the user up and ´brings ´em back´ quickly...but, as shown by the experiences of some people; not for the faint of heart... SALVIA IS TOTALLY MIND BENDING!

i don´t know but i´ve been told that a specific attitudinal axiom should be kept in mind when ´ingesting´ psychadelics: that is that the user should be sure and have no need for their own sanity because when you take acid, or shrooms or smoke salvia or whatever, you might just lose your sanity and never get it back... with high doses of psychadelics you can certainly expect at the very least to ´never be the same´... you could open ´doors´ inside the mind and never be able to quite shut them again once the trip is over... whether you like it or not...

by the way, i´m told salvia comes in straight leaf, and in extracts like 5x, 10x, 15x, etc...

i would think that if you were to get into 15x and higher you would be approaching the level of a DMT-type experience ... that is if you were ever to get off at all... once you get way off on salvia, i´m told you can find yourself in ancient cities, on beaches with women in white, finding yourself turning into a plant, etc... all in the ´up and down´ period of about 5-10 minutes...

another mind blowing, yet very dangerous way to get high fast and come right back is nitrous oxide... but that´s probably kept only for the best of fools ...

i knew a young man who died, apparently from inhaling nitrous right off of the tank... froze his lungs as best anyone could tell... nasty stuff.. even if you put it into balloons first and inhale that way... watch out...

anyway, i could see lsd helping some people... someone i met didn´t like it... said the energy in his gut was ´coarse´... i´ve heard that the energy from shrooms in the gut is ´smooth´... yeah that feeling in the gut i´ve heard about... you have to get a good chemist and thus good acid... like i would certainly be tempted if i were offered lsd i knew had been made by shulgin himself...

What you say LSD is doing for you is naught but a tiny glimpse of what you can do for yourself. However, that is if you accept to be responsible for yourself, because perhaps you prefer to remain slave to drugs, until you die of it and of degenerating side-effects?

Many years ago, I ate acid like it was candy--at least 3 times a week (it doesn´t work well if you don´t space it out to regain your normal brain chemistry). Man, those were crazy years.

Haven´t done any in quite some time now, don´t miss it.

thats all nice. I smoked like 10 doses 5x extract salvia and leaves in each of 3 sessions and didn´t get anything at all.

Except for the second time I tried it.. smoked some weed, and was disappointed I didn´t g et any type of hallucination, so I went to the mirror and tried to freak myself out with some induced hallucinations I have done myself with marijuana alone, seeing golden spots of light warping geometric patterns warping and such, but I could control them. Then I saw Jesus Christ on a cross in gold acrodd my chest. I was sorta projecting the images from my third eye into the ethers, and onto the mirror and back onto my chest, so I could FEEL every hallucination like my own skin was warping and stuff.

it was OK... but I can be pretty freaking immune to stuff I´ve tried before like salvia, triple stack xtc (never done it again tho), and that´s it really, Ive tried no other drug except for weed baccy and coke. Now weed, I can be pretty sensitive to... (I love one hit wonders) that´s my drug of choice. I´ll try salvia again one day and see if it does anything then, and maybe X. Definately shrooms.

I think salvia is one of those drugs that you gotta "let go". Me I was fully conscioous all throughout every session waiting for something to happen but nothing...ah wel, maybe lady salvia will treat me better next time.

oh and forgot to say that I chewed salvia like 3 times after those first 3 smoking sessions and got nothing.

ah well.

lsd made me a better person until i got voices in my head telling me to kill all my mates and i stood in a doorway crying with a large sharp knife.

i didnt go thru with it but the thought was there , also the burst blood vessels in my eyes turning the whites to pure red didnt help - along with that was the horrible monsters that come thru the walls at me and the 4 days it took me to get over my psychosis

other than that - lsd is a great drug - used by idiots without a clue of the dammage (i never slept for 6 months and was paranoid for about 3 years)

i think everyone should do acid as much as they can (moron)
