Pentagon planners held a "mass casualty exercise involving a mock attack on the building using a commercial passenger jetliner on October 24, 2000. Pentagon Mass Casualty Exercise [ link to www.informationclearinghouse.info] But after the real attack, they said they never even imagined such a thing could happen. wow, looks like they were planning the Pentagon attack for a while!
