I think it's the area code to an interstellar hospital. If someone is (sic), they may give one a call to offer a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and drugs of any kind.

777 is not a United States area code. There is however a 777 area code in China but I doubt they're calling you from China.

It's either a telemarketer or a bill collector. If your calling the number back and it says it's invalid it's because the company has it blocked. I don't answer numbers from 800,877,866,777, or 900

777 area code is businesses (think bill collectors). While it is an area code in China, in the US they allot the 777 are code for some operations within companies. Either because they have outsourced the bill collection telephone service or because one can not dial that number back.

[link to 800notes.com] has a list of people who have reported getting called from 777 area code, most will confirm 'foreign' source or person speaking.
