Costa Rican dentists do great work also, for a similar price. Cheaper than flying to Greece also.

There are also dentists in Mexico who will do much cheaper as well.

There are dentists that, for whatever reason had lost their licenses in the states, and have moved across the border to continue performing their trade.

Always wanted to visit Costa Rica.

I just paid 20,000 for four implants and about six units of crowns oer eh implants and a bridge between the implants. A friend of mine is having a full mouth restoration. The price tag? About $40,000 by the time it's all done... Sweet eh?

Dentists are just as bad if not worse the lawyers when it comes to prices.

And most Dental Insurance will only cover so much like 1000-3000 a year. So most will come out of your pocket

Go to Mexico. They are cheaper and you can get natural meds there too.

seriously if anyone has somewhat more specific info on how/where to find places outsided the U.S., like the poster has in Greece, I would appreciate it. Both my husband and I need work done and I've heard it's far cheaper in other places,.. bascially you can get a vacation and your teeth done for the same price or less as teeth done here .

I just don't know what to google and don't know which areas are worth looking into seriously. I don't want a half ass job, but I believe that there are places outside the U.S. that are way way cheaper and it would make perfect sense.

So anyone got ideas on where I can start looking? TIA :-)

Hungary is also known to have these all in one dentist-vacation offers. They have many tourists going there to have new teeth implants.

For 2 hours work, and 4 pieces of plastic. Dentistry is way over priced. Compared to patients who might be making $14 an hour. In most businesses, it would be a great way to go out of business.

They seem to always be pushing work that doesn't need to be done.

I have deformed molars - from having a hi temp as a young child. A dentist in Cali did a root canal. Yrs later - I found out he actually poked a hole in the root - causing me tremendous problems, infection and pain a couple yrs later. So - I paid lots and lots of money - to someone to actually injure me.

My theory now - take care of my teeth - but no more root canals. No more caps - that need to be redone yrs later. I am not a cash cow for my dentist and I've let them know that.

Hell, I'll do it for 250 bucks.. c'mon over !

i just spent 15k cash. 3 root canals and 12 veneers. i refused the RC caps. i had them post and core instead. *fill the drill hole with porcelain bond.

Go the the Phillipines if you can as well.. I know a great dentist there and the work is superior. (all my work is done there) I travel a lot and get most of my medical and dental work done outside the USA/Canada because of price and efficiency if I can do it. Example.. non mercury resin cavity 10 US.


I have had friends have it done in Russia and Hungary they are really good there.

If you require a lot of work then plan a long vacation..

If you live in the USA I would probably go Costa Rica and spend a vacation on the beach recovering.. :)



If you look up Medical tourism dental on google you will find lots.

I know a good Dentist in Costa Rica too.

Spend the money on the vacation not the dental work I say.

In the USA is makes so much sense with the cost of everything to them causing the price..office insurance and the like make doing the work expensive for them.

PS. use a fluoride free tooth past your mouth and teeth will thank you.
