Perhaps this symbolizes the hurry up and figure out what's broke and fix it and while you're at it, remember to tune into those causes, activities and creative aspirations that rock the core of your soul. Simple enough, right? Just another one of those times where the refresh of what means the most to you in life becomes as clear as can be. As well, this is a mind over matter time. If it matters, you mind. If it doesn't matter, you don't mind. With a redefined smattering of mattering, it behooves a human to turn personal attention to November 18th. Within a twenty-four hour window both Jupiter and Venus resume prograde motion - or the normal direct tracking across the ecliptic. That should be good, too, right? It should. To abet this process, keep those things most important to you clearly in mind as you push forward toward larger personal and collective goals. This might be one of those times when people at large gain a sense of what improvement there may be on the global economics track. If the recession is over, why doesn't it feel like it? If we're economically back in the healthy zone, why don't most astrologers schedule a hundred readings a week (maybe, that subsection of humanity is allergic to working more than forty hours a week)? What if, suddenly, things started to feel better economically and as if financial peril did not lurk around the next corner? Would people become more tuned into pursing visions, dreams and aspirations with greater careless abandon? Seems like. Regardless of the economic stats, what if those desperately wanting to explore the whimsical options of life decide to use the combined direct motion of Venus and Jupiter to get on with it? Perhaps it's important to consider that one of the base words of Capricorn - where the node and Pluto mix it up - is caprus, which remains the root of capricious. Does one dare be one's carefree and whimsical self? Sounds nice, but there's still the reality of getting there from here, especially with all the recent juxtapositions, lingering long term aspects and the overlay of celestial patterns onto the ways of the world. For the next number of days - call it ten days - Mars in the early degrees of Sagittarius makes contact with a multi-plex of black holes across the Virgo-Sagittarius square. Normally the counsel would be to capture any and all unique ideas coming one's way with a dedicated 283 seconds of conscious attention applied to the incoming blip. When doing this, one realizes how long and powerful a time four minutes and forty-three seconds can be. That element still remains in play for any and all ideas; however, here we're dealing with Mars. With Mars, the vibe of these pulses turns from thinking about something into doing something. Whenever starting out on a task, especially one that fits with inspired agendas, ensure the first step(s) last(s) long enough to make things stick. For example, if one had a strong natal Mars and mixed epoxy to hold a new bathroom fixture in place that intended to support a mirror of some size, one must endure the process of ensuring the proper tack exists with the epoxy elements before letting go. Yes, it's true! This pattern insists you must be as tacky as necessary for as long as necessary. No, that's actually not it. The message is to ensure that whatever action is taken, give it ample time to make sure all foundational elements set. Sometimes this "setting" energy notes the time lag between hearing a concept and being able to wrap around it. Recently while hearing a baseball afficionado spew stats about the odds of a certain team winning the World Series, I listened and having slept through my statistics class, had to chew on it for a few moments for the permutations to become mentally digested. Since the planet in play here is Mars, no doubt an idea bringer wants to rally the troops into immediate action. Good luck with that. Here the issue is not one of "give me a good reason why, "it's "I need a minute (or four minutes and forty-three seconds) to make sense of the plan." Try allowing minor delays when dealing with others to bring about synchronization of consciousness, and subsequently unified effort when push comes to shove. Over the next weeks leading up to the return of Jupiter and Uranus into Aries (January and March respectively), these trends apply. Still, using these aspects does not seem to solve all of the inner stirring. There's a feeling, vague though it might be, that there's something out there we must all soon weave into our consciousness. Some now pin it on the recent visibility of Comet Hartley, a short period comet amongst one of a couple hundred such comets. Seems unfair to blame or attribute so much to such a regular visitor. After all, a short period comet is more or less celestial background noise, unless assigning Blue Star or end of the world attributes to anything that comes along. So what is it?? For me, I keep waiting for the next update of Kuiper Belt information. With three teams now searching out a previously unsearched region of the sky, surely, there should be more out there. I keep hoping that there's something significantly large that totally messes with the abomination of the recently declared planetary definition. I mentioned a few GT's ago that Mike Brown, discoverer of Eris (and so much more) is now searching those southern skies through post-analysis (looking at pictures taken in the recent relative past) and now blogs about his views on the Kuiper Belt and beyond. Lately he's been blogging about Sedna and why she is in orbit around our Sun with an 11,000 (plus or minus) year orbit. He contends that maybe there was something big out there that hasn't been found. Big, in this thinking, could be something the size of Earth! Or perhaps, there's something big out there that hasn't been found. Then again, maybe it was the influence of our companion star (not that likely) or maybe the gravitational influences of several stars on Sedna over eons. No one knows. But the door is wide open for a new discovery to appear that will again rock the foundation of our understanding of our solar system. By the way, for those heavily invested in doom and end of the world scary things, the news network in the United States known for keeping fear alive, recently reported that the assessment of the date for the ending of the Mayan Calendar may be miscalculated. Good news is, it ended last month (JUST KIDDING, DO NOT FORWARD AS A FACT). Seriously, the calcs according to Gerardo Aladan of UCSB, who used data in the Dresden Codex Venus Table, believes that the suspicions of an end date could be off by 50 to 100 years. And, he does not rule out that it could have already happened. Maybe during the Galactic Alignment of 1999? Maybe during the Venus alignment of 2004 or the one in June of 2012? Of course, with so many Mayan interpreters out there convinced of the precision of December 2012, why even give this a second look? Last night I was thinking about orbital elements of relatively new planetary bodies and the ongoing updates to them instead of counting sheep. The elements of bodies such as Chiron, Eris, Sedna and others occur on an ongoing basis, as they do for Pluto and Uranus, too. The stark reality is that astrologers could generate a new ephemeris every month on the newer bodies to improve accuracy. Last year's data is a little off. The data of 2003, 1930, 1846, 1781 is certainly a little off (the years when the more recent, monumental solar system planetary discoveries were made). It seems in these days when scientific discovery explodes as fast as it does, definitive detailed answers become harder to isolate. The end result is that an attitude of tolerance must be applied. We must learn to tolerate a margin of acceptance - better than the classically defined margin of error. This margin of acceptance permits grasping a major concept or the import of an astronomical discovery without snarling up in subjective detail orientation. To return to the point of what makes Sedna so strange and when will the Mayan calender end... it doesn't matter. What matters is engaging the consciousness that Sedna seeks to reveal and to wrap around the consciousness shift that is supposed to be part of the Mayan calendar's cyclic restart and groove on adding that to personal and collective consciousness. It would be nice if we had the support of a new planetary body that astrologers could accept, wrap around and embrace. While many will detail next year's avant garde rebellious spirit and attribute to Uranus in Aries, I choose to factor in Eris in Aries too. I'll even add the import of the passage of Jupiter to his own closest contact to the Sun on the same day that he does the same with the closest contact of Makemake to the Sun. And next year we'll have Jupiter in direct aspect to Uranus and Eris and Haumea. We'll also have Saturn in direct contact with Eris and Haumea. And let us note that traditional interpretations of doom from Saturn to Uranus and Pluto and Jupiter did not render the end of the world, much to the chagrin of those forecasting the same. It may seem that we have to deal with the state of the world and use consciousness to steer it into better straits. We now stand awaiting something more... a new thing to be revealed that will fill in many blanks about moving humanity from darker ages more toward enlightenment. Why not include those new elements? Maybe one of the effects of this next short period Mars movement is to look at innovations that stare us in the face and learn how to apply them as tools of consciousness. Regardless, Venus and Jupiter are about ready to reset traditional agendas. At least, it's time to shun justifications and rationale as to why things will stay the same especially when invoking new and innovative elements of expanding consciousness. Predict your personal rally for the end of a year that well... lacked and sagged in parts. There's still time to make something of the weeks ahead and restore clear vision for the pioneering promise of 2011 with Jupiter and Uranus and Eris in Aries all enthusiastically and exuberantly plowing ahead and waiting for none to follow. I've been feeling like a misfit lately -- but its fine can't be living in this constant roller-coaster ride anymore so I am integrating the shadow n the light n even the darkness lately. All I can say is I can't wait to get the harmony flowing in steadily in its proper tone. We have to dig real deep in the cave to find the way. The Real way out once and for all. It seems I go from one hole find a light then end up in another cave so on and so forth--- But this time I see the real outlet --- so near so bright -- so ME. I wish I could run to it but the rocks -- the water -- the bad oxygen level --- makes it impossible to run to ... a slow but steady climb moving away the obstacles ---climbing over them --- and even digging away the rubble and making small holes to breathe better. I've been doing this for so long... I am really tired --- but it is part of my blue-print soon Venus and Jupiter will be back shinning on through lending much needed assistance. The New Moon conjoins and lies just a degree prior to Zubenelgenubi, Alpha Libra. Zubenelgenubi and Zubeneschamali (Beta Libra) in modern illustrations are shown as the scales or balance of Libra. In a much older imaging however, these stars are the claws of the Scorpion--an image revealing a far greater understanding about our incarnational experience and purpose on Earth. Exploring the embracing mythical picture of this part of the heavens (extending through Virgo-Libra-Scorpio) provides greater context and a deeper understanding of Libra's balance. Although the constellation of Virgo begins at the Leo / Virgo cusp, it extends well into the first half of the sidereal sign of Libra. The Virgin lies supine with her head at the beginning of Virgo, which lies under the Halo of the Virgin marked by our Super Galactic Centre--the spiritual center in which our galaxy nests). The Virgin's base chakra (Spica, Alpha Virgo) marks the cusp of Virgo / Libra, while the Virgin's legs extend well into Libra, with her feet marking the center (of sidereal Libra. The two primary stars of Libra, Zubenelgenubi and Zubeneschamali, lie just past the feet of the Virgin, respectively at about 20° and 24° sidereal Libra. However, in our older mythical image the chelae of Scorpion extend from the east, from the head of the Scorpion in early sidereal Scorpio, back into sidereal Libra, with Zubenelgenubi and Zubeneschamali marking the open claws of the Scorpion reaching toward the Virgin's feet. Zubenelgenubi is the southern claw (residing on the ecliptic) and Zubeneschamali is the northern claw, (residing a bit north of the ecliptic). The over all image here is of the Virgin giving birth into the Chelae of the Scorpion, an image that articulates the reincarnational birthing of the soul into a process of soul growth gained through the balance of human experience while in the forces of duality. This mythical articulation was destroyed in recent (Chaldaean / Roman) times: The Scorpion's Chelae and the Virgin's legs were severed from our stellar mythos, and so too its profound significance. This is why our modern image of Libra is considered to be the scales of justice--implying the need to experience both sides (a balance) of human experience in order to gain self-mastery as an incarnating soul. It does not imply the guilt trip laden idea of paying for misdeeds deemed by a mediating and governing church-state that pretends to stand between an incarnate soul and God--a ploy used by the antiquated church-state puppet-masters to control and manipulate the masses. Nor does it refer to paying for past deeds done in a prior incarnation. Here, in the reincarnational clutches of the Scorpion, the incarnating soul learns self-responsibility and self-mastery, to claim the true freedom that the scales of Libra stand for, by choice, by choosing to move from the patterns and scenarios of the past (Zubenelgenubi) and to participate in a new way, to step into a new way of being, upon a new path of experience --in essence to complete one's destiny or incarnational purpose of soul growth. Zubenelgenubi and Zubeneschamali are the karmic and dharmic seats for humanity, the former about our past experience and patterns of growth, and the latter about our future path of experience and growth, that which we have yet to do, our capacity, or duty in a sense, to do it differently--to grow and change. Alignments with Zubenelgenubi, the southern claw, indicate a responsibility to address or complete any entrapping situations--unfinished business, or simply entrapping patterns and scenarios in this life. Zubenelgenubi also marks Saturn's exalted location in the ecliptic; and Pluto's perihelion--also giving us a clue to Saturn and Pluto's relationship. Saturn is often called the lord of karmic retribution. Amongst several things, Saturn demands we demonstrably face our fears, grow and mature. Alignments with Zubeneschamali, the northern claw, indicate a responsibility to step forward from our past patterns of growth and life scenarios into our intended new experience, into our future destiny, by taking the responsibility to choose a new experience, to choose a new way, a new participation. It is through this balance of experience that we free ourselves from our past, or better to say, that fulfills our past. Hence, as the scales of Libra, we can see how the two energetics work in balance for the growth of the soul. We must pursue new experience while completing or integrating our past experience. If we do not choose new experience we stay wallowing in our past patterns. If we remain in denial of our past experience and avoid accepting responsibility for it, our past patterns pull on us relentlessly, making it quite difficult to experience the lives we truly seek. Either way, we stay entrapped in the Scorpion's clutches. Thus, the "art of (Libra) living," living in balance, takes on an expounded meaning. It also conjoins Alphecca and Gamma of Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown. Lying south of the chelae and the Virgin' feet are the stars of the Centaur, teacher of self-mastery in the physical world. The Centaur teaches the right way to live to attain our evolutionary freedom. The Centaur stands over and protects the Southern Cross, which embodies the pure unadulterated essence of our soul purpose in the world--the original cardinality of the soul; also the four cardinal virtues, seeming lost to most of humanity. Further articulating this theme is the neck and head of the serpent, held in the hand of Ophiuchus, reaching for the Northern Crown, which lies north of the Scorpion's chelae and over the feet of the Virgin. Ophiuchus, standing upon the Scorpion, is demonstrable example of one who has achieved this equilibrium, this evolutionary freedom. He, holding the serpent reaching (or pointing) to the Northern Crown, indicates the ideal, the goal to ultimately free self from entrapment in the clutches of the Scorpion, which is learned in the balance, by stepping from the past (karmic) patterns into our (dharmic) future--in full demonstrable mastery over the forces governing life and death. The Northern Crown articulates the achievement of this freedom or fulfillment. Our New Moon, not quite into the claws of the Scorpion (between the feet of the Virgin and claws), resides at a point of opportunity in sidereal Libra--to choose a path from a greater clarity within, from the power of pure intent and an unadulterated sense of purpose, which leads to our greater fulfillment, or to step forth into the same ole' patterns of the past--entrapped. Vesta, quite fitting to our stellar theme, is the asteroid of focus, dedication and commitment; of physical, emotional, and mental clarity; and of self-respect. Vesta brings a capacity to be pure within self at all levels for the expression of our highest potential and true Essence. Vesta is of strength, purity, and perfection--of total dedication to purpose. Vesta brings attention to that which is of true importance and will ignite and burn away that which is not so we can become clear. Potential Vesta issues are: scatteredness, with an inability to focus, commit or carry through; and avoidance of one's true purpose. Once you have found emotional clarity, then it is possible to sharpen your will, your instrument for fulfilling your intentions in life. Anyone who has experienced the water sword-Scorpio-knows all about these incisive powers. During the remarkable cardinal squares this summer, many people found themselves using their will power very intentionally, and this felt really good. Well, these intentions are to be fulfilled this fall. What were they for you? What did you find yourself hammering away at all summer? During such remarkable creative change in general, you may have also felt chaotic, ungrounded, dislocated, and frantic during the summer. Have you noticed yourself trying to figure out what happened in your life during this summer? Ironically, it does not really matter how you handled what actually came up because change plays itself out in increments, and the changes we are experiencing now are group changes. When Day Seven of the 102,000-year Regional Underworld opened in 5900 BC, we were recovering from the Night Six cataclysms. Looking back in time, we find the goddess culture of art and beauty thriving in advanced villages like Catal Huyuk. When Day Seven of the 5,125-year National Underworld opened in 1617 AD, Europeans were finished with the Inquisition and the plagues. Looking back, we find that the Age of Exploration and early science were culminating the intentions of the National Underworld civilizations. During Day Seven of the Planetary Underworld, a strong global economic revival began in 1992 that lasted more than ten years. By examining the chart, I can see that this Scorpio New Moon does express convergent forces that could push us into Oneness with technology. It is loaded with personal tips that can be used to take advantage of the grand opportunity that has occurred only seven times previously during 16.4 billion years! This moment is the eighth great culmination of an Underworld, and the ninth and last one will happen during October 2011. This means that we are taking two great steps over the next twelve months. This knowledge is also has its practical side. For example, from studying demographics, Jupiter/Saturn cycles, and Pluto's transit through Capricorn, I can see that we are in the early stages of a ten-to-fifteen-year economic downturn. Investors take note: There could be a boom in some sectors of technology, especially the ones that point to the next stage of our evolution-uses of free energy and consciousness in the higher planes. During the planetary pairings of the Libra lunation, we witnessed many new revelations: WikiLeaks released a second wave of data exposing the insanity of war; reports showed that Halliburton's concrete failures may have caused the Deepwater Horizon oil spill; thankfully, the US did not bomb Iran's nuclear facilities, which had been discussed for many months; the American mid-term elections reflected great change in the American society, which captured worldwide attention. Meanwhile, many of Carl Calleman's readers surged forward with ceremonies to balance male and female energies as Day Seven of the Galactic begins. Gerry and I were in India and Europe for the past five weeks, and foreign papers showed that the whole world still hopes that America can help the world escape despotism and mayhem. During the Libra New Moon, Pluto was moving inexorably closer to the lunar North Node in Capricorn, which squared Saturn/Mercury in Libra. This meant October was a time of karmic crisis over the need for deep change in our world. Many felt this strain in their personal lives as they observed monumental events in the world. Well, during the Scorpio New Moon, Pluto is exactly conjunct the North Node in Capricorn while sextiling Venus in early Scorpio and Chiron/Neptune in late Aquarius. Venus is trining Neptune/Chiron, which means the issue is healing female pain and imagination. The crisis brought to a head during the cardinal squares this summer will intensify during this lunar month, and a new sense of direction will emerge. There is not going to be any way to avoid confronting the toughest issues of our times, and to realize that life is never going to be the same. We all have to release old dysfunctional patterns to make space for new paths. Significantly, Chiron and Neptune are just a few minutes apart; Chiron goes direct just before this New Moon, and Neptune goes direct the day after. Therefore, the themes of the Scorpio New Moon are: the Plutonic restructuring of systems to be accomplished by means of a great healing crisis, and a Chiron-conjunct-Neptune-trine-Venus inspiring the feminine revival during the end of the Mayan Calendar. Because of these elements, something really big is going to happen with our seas and/or oil (ruled by Pluto). I suspect this because Chiron went into Pisces for the first time just a few hours before the Deep Water Horizon oil platform explosion, which consequently was felt as a global wounding. Perhaps we will have to face the truth about the deeply hidden damage to our oceans, Neptune's world? The New Moon chart offers some ideas. The New Moon is in the middle degrees of Scorpio, where its Plutonic influence is the strongest. We have moved out of the phase of three Super Moons-Leo, Virgo, and Libra-yet, still this New Moon has no aspects! This is the fourth New Moon with no aspects to it, which is really compelling, since a New Moon with no major aspects is quite rare. Thus, the Scorpio lunation hovers uninfluenced, which intensifies its Plutonic potency that cannot be avoided with Pluto right on the lunar North Node. Some big lines will be drawn in the sand this month. Hopefully, most of the tectonic stress from three Super Moons was released in the Indonesian quake and tsunami and Mt. Merapi's eruption in Java. In general, the New Moon in Scorpio is passionate, truthful, desperate, and frequently stuck. This force makes us feel intense and mindful about everything-Scorpio's sword! Pluto (which rules Scorpio) sitting on the North Node means everybody has to handle the really big structural transformations that now underlie our reality. We will feel that what each one of does or does not do really matters, and this is true. Venus is positioned before the New Moon, while Mercury follows later in Scorpio, so we are acutely receptive to deep feelings while also possessing keen insight about what's important. The challenge is to master our wills by aligning our feelings and beliefs with the greater agendas of our times. Used correctly, this is the perfect New Moon for launching the fruition phase-Day Seven-of the Galactic Underworld. Pluto on the lunar North Node compels us to embrace structural change and new paths in life. In this way, you become a positive force in the universe. One physical manifestation of this might be your finances. Are you saving or depleting funds? It might be considered in terms of your health. Are you building yourself up in terms of health and strength or are you constantly burning the candle at both ends? Ask yourself, "What am I creating within this moment?" What you are creating with your choices moment by moment will become your future. Sustainable choices lead to an empowered rather than an impoverished future. 6) Be willing to see yourself as a wise and infinite being without need for recognition or aggrandizement. If you are feeling the need for recognition at this time, consider ways you may not be acknowledging and appreciating yourself. As you enter deeper levels of gratitude and self-love, you feel less need for outer recognition. 7) Listen closely to the needs of your body during this time. There is a need now to eat lighter and observe any addictions you may have to food, drink or other substances. Addictions are adopted at times when you feel yourself unable to cope with life circumstances. These crutches are like training wheels you no longer need as you move into greater levels of awakening. When you release addictive habits, you learn to use the wings of your higher consciousness to soar above what you previously thought was possible. Your physical body is attempting to transform itself to align with the energies of higher frequencies being downloaded into your consciousness. Whatever you put into your physical system at this time will determine the shape of your future manifestations. Health or disease is manifesting more quickly than ever before. Rapid healing and transformation is happening at a rapid rate now and likewise, so is deterioration and decay. 8) Enter deeper and deeper realms of silence. Many have become accustomed to the constant background noise in their environment and even the incessant chatter of their own mind. Without the noise, some feel lost and even frightened. Be willing to sit with the stillness and quiet of your inner being. Start with only a few minutes per day if necessary and gradually allow yourself to enter longer and longer periods of silence. When you sit still and listen within, you gain awareness of the vast, infinite expanse of your soul. Within this infinite expanse, all is possible. 9) If you are seeking to manifest abundance, a relationship, a new career or anything else, be willing to enter a place of inner stillness and align with the energies you find there. Whatever you feel guided to manifest into your physical reality already exists within your consciousness. Invite the part of you that holds this frequency of your intended manifestation to come forward and inform your actions, thoughts and feelings in coming days and weeks. Whatever you may seek to create, there is a part of your consciousness able to come forward to teach you the steps to bring it into your physical reality. Be sure to hold in awareness how this intended manifestation is aligned with your spiritual purpose. 10) Cultivate patience. In this world, there is a mindset of needing everything to occur within an expected timeframe. The need for instant gratification is an offshoot of scarcity consciousness. Holding the rods in his hands, when the holder's cells feel water, electrical signals in the dowsers hands cause the rods to draw together to form a double quincunx-the Yod-that points the rods to the water source. They really work! Imagine yourself as a dowser holding the energy of the two planets (or more) in a sextile and then allow that energy to flow out of your hands to the opposite point, the head of the Yod. Of course, you can only do this by comprehending and feeling the quality of each planet in the sextile, while you imagine holding them in your left and right hands. Then as you shoot this force out to the head of the Yod, you can feel how its impulses, pushes, and activates the planet at the head of the Yod-that is, assuming you can feel the qualities of the planet at the head. It sounds complicated, so, let's just do it. Then we can look at how these powers affect the New Moon/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius, which is the theme of the New Moon: totally activating your creative potential now. Venus/Jupiter in early Pisces plays a pivotal role because it is the right hand of the Yod to Mars, and it is also the head of the Yod coming from the Saturn/Mars sextile. Like a caduceus, this double role greatly intensifies both Venus and Jupiter, especially Venus, which is less than one degree from its aspects to Mars and Saturn, very close aspects indeed! Taking a glimpse at what's been going on lately with Venus, Venus was conjunct the Sun during the December 31 Cancer lunar eclipse; combust the Sun during the January 15 close solar eclipse; and conjunct the Sun during the January 29/30 Full Moon. These were the eclipses and Full Moon that facilitated our movement into our collective dark night of the soul that was initially set up by the field of the Winter Solstice. Therefore the role Venus is playing must be carefully watched, especially in the actions of these two Yods. See yourself standing very erect with your feet grounded in Earth. Moreover, all distance throughout all space and all periods of time throughout all time are represented by this ocean of eventons. Every eventon, like a photon, experiences all future, past, and present together in the present, and possesses only a single here-now. The idea of a global here-now is the total sum of all eventons' perspectives of space and time. Since every eventon experiences all of its events in a single here-now, the sum or total rules of space and time of all eventons would be that all events throughout all space and time exist here-now. This global sum of all the eventons' distance-time is what I call the global here-now. One might ask whether this global here-now has any relation to the primordial point universe that existed before the Big Bang that started the known universe. I can only guess. It is possible that that primordial point universe still exists, and it is best understood as this global here-now in which our universe currently resides. However, I really have not extended this theory too much in the direction of cosmology. Since an observer is matter, an observer does not have this perspective.
