Libra likes to see peace and harmony as the prevailing scenario, so now would be a prime couple of days in which to resolve differences or to at least agree to disagree and move on.

Knot in the Ribbon at the Edge of the Solar System 'Unties'

The unusual "knot" in the bright, narrow ribbon of neutral atoms emanating in from the boundary between our solar system and interstellar space appears to have "untied," according to a paper published online in the Journal of Geophysical Research. Researchers believe the ribbon, first revealed in maps produced by NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) spacecraft, forms in response to interactions between interstellar space and the heliosphere, the protective bubble in which the Earth and other planets reside. Sensitive neutral atom detectors aboard IBEX produce global maps of this region every six months.

Analyses of the first map, released last fall, suggest the ribbon is somehow ordered by the direction of the local interstellar magnetic field outside the heliosphere, influencing the structure of the heliosphere more than researchers had previously believed. The knot feature seen in the northern portion of the ribbon in the first map stood apart from the rest of the ribbon as the brightest feature at higher energies.

While the second map, released publicly with the just-published paper, shows the large-scale structure of the ribbon to be generally stable within the six-month period, changes are also apparent. The polar regions of the ribbon display lower emissions and the knot diminishes by as much as a third and appears to "untie" as it spreads out to both lower and higher latitudes.

"What we're seeing is the knot pull apart as it spreads across a region of the ribbon," says Dr. David J. McComas, IBEX principal investigator and an assistant vice president at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio. "To this day the science team can't agree on exactly what causes the knot or the ribbon, but by comparing different sky maps we find the surprising result that the region is changing over relatively short time periods. Now we have to figure out why."

As the IBEX spacecraft gathers a wealth of new information about the dynamic interactions at the edge of the solar system -- the region of space that shields our solar system from the majority of galactic cosmic ray radiation -- the IBEX team continues to study numerous theories about the source of the ribbon and its unusual features

2011 TO DO LIST

■HANG ON because time, reality, consciousness, ascension/evolution is going to speed up another 20-fold faster on March 9, 2011. Sensitive people have been feeling it building during the Fall months of 2010, but it will fully arrive on March 9, 2011.
■Read that first one again because it’s the most powerful and important 2011 change for us all.
■Because of this final 20-fold increase Lightworkers/Starseeds/Wayshowers and Indigos are going to begin having more new and unusual Multi-D perceptions, experiences, and consciousness.
■Many more “regular” people will suddenly be activated by this final March 2011 20-fold increase and will become confused and probably frightened by all it will produce individually and collectively.
■Positive ascension changes AND the simultaneous dismantling, “falling” negative things (people, systems, beliefs, etc.) will both increase with the start of 2011. “It is the best of times and the worst of times.”
■Jan. 1st. 2011 is a 1-1-11 day! Lightworkers/Starseeds/Wayshower who’ve been living the Ascension Process since 1999 will fully enter a new level and phase of our Planetary Mission and our Teaching & Guidance Work will adjust to reflect this final 20-fold increase period.

They’re having their growing difficulties due to the increasing and unrelenting higher energy pressures and many cannot make this final huge transition into a world and reality of Light. This too is normal at this point and they will go elsewhere to continue so don’t be concerned.
■Be prepared on multiple levels for very pleasant new multidimensional experiences, visions, feelings, smells, sounds, discoveries, and profoundly deeper level knowing. Deeper level knowing is much more vast and multidimensional—not to mention free—than old 3D egoic, intellectual, left-brained thinking and costly memorization of specific distorted information.
■Expect greater magnetic changes on Earth, increased solar activities and continued light changes, increased unusual deep-space, cosmic and Galactic activities, energies, lights, movements, changes in orbits and locations, planetary axial tilt correction etc. Simultaneously expect greater changes in your awareness of linear time, of moving out of it and into non-linear quantum and Multi-D states of awareness. Don’t become lost or frightened during the increasing moments when you’re consciously aware of vibrating/spinning/existing well outside old familiar linear 3D Earth time and polarized consciousness boarders. We’ll all adapt to this quickly and wonder how we ever lived without it!
■Sudden major expansions in human consciousness/awareness will begin with 2011. This will be both wonderful and frightening for many people. Even many people who’ve been aware of the Ascension Process will be surprised by the many changes and speed of them that 2011 will bring.
■Learn to hold your Ascended Self Individuality (highest Leo) while allowing all others to learn and do the same. Ascended Individuals learning to function within complex and growing 5D (highest Aquarian) Groups. Aquarius/Uranus and Leo/Sun energies but within an ascended 5D level, not a old lower 3D one.
■Be prepared to make further changes—residence, employment, unemployment, career, schooling, beliefs, expectations, plans, income, money, friends, family etc. Help 2011 and the Lightworkers/Starseeds/Wayshowers by being far more open to vastly higher, better, more evolved ways to live and be. Expect much higher which means letting go of even more old lower world beliefs and ways of living and being. Be brave and release even more so that much better can take its place.
■Expect things to change (evolve) throughout 2011 much quicker than what some people and channeled beings have predicted.
■Increasing numbers of people will begin consciously (and through their dreams) multidimensionally seeing and communicating with certain non-physical, other-dimensional Starbeings, ETs, Others. In 2011 “Universal Society” will slowly begin in increasing numbers of Individuals who are energetically and psychologically capable of consciously perceiving (and interacting with) much larger and more complex levels of Multi-D reality. As more people are energetically and psychologically capable of perceiving more and more Multi-D reality, they too will begin to sense, feel, see and eventually communicate telepathically with some of the numerous other-dimensional Others all around us. This must be energetically earned first however to prevent psychological and/or energetic damage or shock to the ascending human.
We’ve going to move through this last intense, more compressed, and 20-times faster phase and not become lost within this Completion Process. This is where our own High Heart Consciousness will repeatedly remind us where the new ascended Center is and to use it as our primary navigational tool.

March 9, 2011 humanity enters the Mayan calendar’s Ninth Wave or last 20-fold completion and evolutionary increase period. Only days later on March 13, 2011, Uranus (the planet that rules Aquarius) enters Aries. It takes Uranus seven years to transit through one zodiacal sign.

January 23, 2011 Jupiter enters Aries. Typically it takes Jupiter one year to transit through one zodiacal sign.

Chiron has been in Aquarius since Feb. 22, 2005 and on Feb. 10, 2011 it enters Pisces. Chiron will be in Pisces for the next eight years or so.

On April 5, 2011 Neptune (the planet that rules Pisces and the ending Age of Pisces) enters Pisces. It takes Neptune 14.5 years to transit through one zodiacal sign. As you can see, 2011 begins with plenty of important astrological sign/energy changes that will help us transition through the multiple Mayan calendar completions cycles in a very short and intense period.

With Uranus and Jupiter back in Aries, Saturn in Libra (the opposite sign to Aries), Pluto in Capricorn, and Chiron and Neptune moved into Pisces, 2011 is going to be very much about sudden expansions of consciousness (fifth-dimensional High Heart Consciousness) in vastly more people world-wide. Also the continued but more compressed collapsing of all negative global systems, structures and beliefs…the ending of the past 2,100-yearlong Piscean Age. And with Chiron and Neptune entering Pisces at this time, humanity will finally Individually become integrated Spiritual Beings on their own and realize they know this as inner living personal truth as opposed to continuing to believe deliberate religious lies that have convinced them they need a intermediary between themselves and anything spiritual.

Hang on yet be flexible because 2011 is going to be one very fast and intense year of transition.

Hi Dances,

Hope you had a great Christmas and Solstice

I've been busy like a bee --- visiting with family
and spending time with all my boys. :)

I will have to tell you that I notice a few family members
starting to wake up a bit... like we did back probably
in 1997 or 1999 --the beginning stages ...but boy even if its a little change --it makes a different. They are willing to
actually listen to someone's else comments even if they still choose to only listen to those most similar to their "thoughts/ideals" they are starting to pay more attention to
"other views" I found that fascinating. Others not many were
asking questions I thought they never asked. I decided to take a seat back and not preach... but let them discuss among each other and question and center within. I probably confuse them --- talking about the fluffy and stuff ... A baby must learn how to crawl before he/she walks or run.

Anyhow --it made me feel like yes things are changing
for everyone ! I needed to see it -- and experience it .
For a while there socializing with family and friends was
very hard for me --- seeing everyone so close minded and
brain washed. I even spoke with a couple of PHD's this weekend and they were very unusually not narcissistic very mellow and non-opinionated. Like waiting -just waiting.

Well got lots of things to get done around the house before
leaving again on another holiday break in a couple of days.

I am getting bits and pieces still but they are clearer each day -- hoping I too get to have a CLEAR-POINT-OF-VIEW
of my path (past,present and future) I feel it --almost
know it --I just need that clear vision (my left brain, ego
is still demanding it...so I guess that's why I haven't received it yet.) I have to learn to let go of the
control-rope completely and at all times not just when I am
zoned in.

Dec 29, Wednesday. Mars (16 Capricorn 33) square Saturn (16 Libra 33) at 8:29 am. The heroic masculine is about taking action and in the Capricorn domain this is centered around the mysteries of personal responsibility. Healthy Saturn is also about taking personal responsibility and in the realm of Libra the focus is on being personally responsible in all your relationships. Action oriented Mars is showing up to actively create the new forms of conscious interpersonal relationship.

Collectively we are co-creating the New Earth. Or as Mary Saint-Marie says in her book Galactic Shamanism we are preparing to “land the divine” consciously. Ultimately this means taking responsibility for our part in this New Earth co-creation as we attune to the unfolding cosmic story!

Are you feeling like you want to smash something?
Does if feel like everything is just wrong? Well, you are not alone. Everyone seems to be feeling something... I felt this grrrr energy kicking in on Sunday night. I spoke to my sister who is in Africa with her family now and they are at wits end also. At about 5:30 a.m. feral cat came in through the cat door and beat up my cat, right in my living room. I chased it out with a spray bottle and two tennis balls. (Hey, it's what I could find!)

I've gotten really good at following my intuition, but last night, while driving, I got to an intersection where I had the option go straight or turn right and still get to my destination. I turned right and immediately a big semi truck appeared and blocked the whole road for about 5 minutes. So when I arrived at the grocery store my neighbor (who I try to avoid as much as possible) was just arriving at the same store and she just had to talk and talk to me about - well, stupid stuff I have no interest in. AND the store was sold out of the two things I went to buy! I know you know what I'm talking about.

Once again there has been a big energetic wave of light splashing through us and flushing up our shadow stuff. I created an astrological chart and found that the Sun (our "human self" and our energy) is conjunct (exact on the 26th) with Pluto (the big underworld, shadow stuff). That explains the anger, frustration, fear, shame, etc. And Mars (masculine energy, action and anger) is square (uncomfortable) with Saturn (limitation and rules of physical reality). That certainly describes how I was feeling and experiencing that everything felt hard and just not right. Not to mention Mercury is stationing direct tomorrow so every computer thing just doesn't work. I clicked on a link three times and it went to a totally wrong place. Then, once I got my tech help on the phone, it (the exact same link!) suddenly worked!

We are getting this wave of energy to clear out the shadow in preparation for our new year. Remember 2010 is a Universal Three Year. There is a lot of creativity in a three year and it's supposed to be about joy, fun and socializing. But it is a year that pushes us to say what's in your heart and expose yourself to the world. We really want to express our authentic selves. This means change (which is stressful) and the people around you will most likely not be happy with how you have changed (adding more stress).

You've heard the idiom, "Necessity is the mother of invention." Substitute invention with creativity and you get the gist of a three year, we are creative because we have to be. At the beginning of 2010 I wrote an article about this year. Below is a quote:

New Moon - Solar Eclipse

A New Moon Solar Eclipse will occur on January 4th. This solar eclipse is the first of four (partial) solar eclipses that will take place in 2011. The last time four partial eclipses occurred in the same year was 2000, and eight of the last 11 years had none. On January 4th, Europe, Africa and Asia will be treated to this visual phenomenon, which gives the Sun a unique crescent shape.

January will also play host to a number of other potent astrological spectacles, including Jupiter and Uranus being 'exact' , extremely close to each other on 3rd - 5th of January - an alignment that occurs only ever 14 years - and this is then teamed with the Quadrantid meteor shower, whose peak is expected from midnight on 3 January into January 4th. Quite a line-up !

Partial Solar Eclipse of January 04 - :y,9h:
The first solar eclipse of 2011 occurs at the Moon's ascending node in eastern Sagittarius. A partial eclipse will be visible from much of Europe, North Africa and central Asia. The penumbral shadow first touches Earth's surface in northern Algeria at 06:40:11 UT. As the shadow travels east, Western Europe will be treated to a partial eclipse at sunrise. The eclipse magnitude from European cities like Madrid (0.576), Paris (0.732), London (0.747), and Copenhagen (0.826) will give early morning risers an excellent opportunity to photograph the sunrise eclipse with interesting foreground scenery.

Greatest eclipse occurs at 08:50:35 UT in northern Sweden where the eclipse in the horizon will have a magnitude of 0.858.

At that time, the axis of the Moon's shadow will pass a mere 510 km above Earth's surface. Most of northern Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia also lie in the penumbra's path. The citizens of Cairo (0.551), Jerusalem (0.574), Istanbul (0.713), and Tehran (0.507) all witness a large magnitude partial eclipse. A sunset eclipse will be visible from central Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and northwest China. The partial eclipse ends when the penumbra leaves Earth at 11:00:54 UT.

The Solar Eclipse of January 4th is triple-embellished, occurring on a New Moon and Quantranti Meteor Shower. The energy signature of this event will be to lightened the intensity that humanity has been bathed in over the past 21 days. It will be a day of renewal, of long waited re-charge. In the truest sense, January 4th ( not January 1st ) is the optimal day for your 'New Year Resolutions' for 2011.



And the astro-logic of this is easy ( for a change ! )... The New Moon is always around rebirth, renewal, the planting of 'seeds' and this one is supra-charged by the potentcy of the solar eclipse and the comets of the Meteor flash. So don't think that because this Solar Eclipse is partial, only visible in specific regions, only covering a portion of the Sun, that its energy is not.extrremely powerful. It is a 'Mega-Event', teeming, buzzing with energy!


All eclipses, especially the ones over the next 24 months are omnipotent in reach & effect. They are light-coded and are shifting the rapidly transitioning 144-Crystalline Grid and the Earth & Humanity in kind. Eclipses, you see, whether partial or total effect the planetary grid system in its entirety, and the resulting energy pulses are evenly distributed over the entire planet.

You recently experienced an enormous energy surge on the Solstice-Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse of December 21st, with Mercury in retrograde. In a very real , very purposeful construct, the coded, embellished Eclipse of January 4th completes the energetic labyrinth that began on December 21st. The Solar Eclipse on 4 January 2011 is at 13 degrees 39 minutes of Capricorn. It is conjunct the fixed star Ascella "Of the nature of Jupiter and Mercury. It projects waves of good fortune, optimism and opens energetic doors into joy and happiness." With the New Moon astrologically programmed to "New and influential friends, valuable gifts, and honoring the Divine Feminine energies."

The emerging prominence of the Star, Ascella is important during the Eclipse of January 4th. Ascella is in the constellation Sagittarius, the Kabalists associate it with the tarot card "The Lovers". Presumably because of the Cupid above them drawing his bow and arrow like the archer. The word Sag means 'To seek out'. And so the astro - logic is that perhaps this will be an energy for finding a new partner or mate perhaps. Certainly the waves of energy would be conducive to new beginnings or renewal of current ones.

The only planetary aspect the New Moon makes is a square to Saturn. Despite the square, the stars influence is a happy, fortunate, optimistic one and just makes the Saturn influence more about seeking to settle down and work hard. This is an energy of harmony, of rebuild, of reconnecting broken bonds. partnership. People pulling together, opening the doors of communication and trusting each other.

Now easily the most important utilization of the January 4th timing, is for planting seeds. Making new resolves. The energy of the comets and eclipse will activate and flood in 'consciousness units' or 'Crystal-Akash', the building blocks of thought manifestation. You cleared obstacles on the Solstice Eclipse, now is the perfect time to manifest new goals, new behaviours and the creation of abundance and events you wish for 2011.

Importantly just four hours after the January 4th Solar Eclipse, the last of three Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction's goes exact. We also have Neptune and Chiron like in 2010. But unlike now they were all retrograde and under the backspin influence . This time it is direct and adds beautiful energy for manifestation.

So the underpinning and energy of the 'Triple Satr' January 4th Solar Eclipse is one of renewal and great relief. The timing is perfect to plan and resolve forward into 2011, with a much clearer idea of where you want to be. There will be no blind-sides or untoward emotional drama with the square from Saturn. The feeling is compelling around 'getting on with things' and being grounded back into clarity and practicality. Organizing for the year ahead. Planting realistic seeds. Ones that will manifest and grow the way you desire and plan them too. This is quite a drama-delusion free Eclipse. No smoke & mirrors, or grandiose promises . Time to feel good again, roll up the sleeves and get back to ground zero and refresh.

2011: A Year of Dharmic Evolution

Here you go. Here’s a look ahead for 2011. As you can see, the dwarf planet influences do their best to shake loose some evolution. Looking ahead to 2011 most astrologers will discuss the reentry of Jupiter and Uranus into Aries, which they contend should fire things up. It surely will. Some may discuss the opposition of Jupiter to Saturn, not such a big deal especially after the dull thud of the promise of Armageddon cardinal cross of 2010. However thoroughly documented, these standard, more classically accepted transits sell the big picture short.



Consider that for most of next year Uranus, Eris and the Dark Moon Lilith pioneer symbolically fresh, unfurrowed turf in sky sector Aries. For five months of the year, Jupiter is in that mix. Still, this does not consider the collection of aspects of Jupiter and Saturn to an additional planet, Haumea. There’s so much to be missed! Most astrologers will fail to note that at the apex of this Aries collection this spring, in two different patterns, we will enjoy five planets and the Sun with the Dark Moon will be in Aries, and six planets and the Dark Moon will be in Aries! And there’s a series of oppositions to two planets in Libra - Saturn and Haumea. I don’t know about you, but with all the goings on in the going concern of Aries, I certainly don’t want to be missing any clues.



To make things easy, the rest of the Galactic Times is more or less a bullet point cheat sheet for 2011. As the potent windows of time arrive, I’ll write more in the GT’s, realizing there are thin resources online for grasping the consciousness and evolutionary building potential of the dwarf planets. But for now, print this out. Feel free to post it somewhere under a handy dandy magnet, and you may pass this around... given you let everyone know where you got it, of course. Anyway, back to the long term Aries pattern of Uranus (returning in March), Eris and the Dark Moon Lilith. To keep it simple, I’m going to borrow from a keyword for the Dark Moon that I heard from Demetra George years ago: authenticity. Given the unique, adventurous, contentious, maverick-like, iconoclastically individualistic nature of both Uranus and Eris, the question becomes: is your personal brand authentic? Or is it a thin varnish of bravado and bark over a mushy core of Hogwart hogwash. If you claim concern for the planet, are you actively engaged in shifting the collective consciousness to wrap around progressive solutions?



Given all the Aries energy fixing to follow here. Some may contend that warlike situations may come to a head. It’s true. They might. However, with Saturn in Libra (and also Haumea and Rhadamanthus, the wise afterlife judge who while presiding over Tartarus determined the merits of the life of humans and the effect of the life on their souls), hope for negotiating peace in previously unachieved circumstances could manifest in substantial and enforceable treaties and accords.



Ironically, this Aries conflagration seeks to put an end to the “all about me,” “my life is worth a million tweets” consciousness. Or at least when Mercury is in Aries, take the time to spell your incendiary sign slogans correctly. Don’t even get me started on the insidious solipsism of social networking, not to mention the soporific content of such sites, or the horrific data mining and strategically crafted advertising, just for you, based upon your profile details and search history. With all the Aries to come, make sure your individuality, privacy and tranquility are not distressed by the urges to fit in.



So to include the messages of ignored and unused planets... Fasten your seatbelt...



Jan 3 - Jupiter conjunct Uranus. This potent combination squares the Galactic Center, no doubt showering anyone who stops to consider with a heap of brainstorm material. If only the fear of rejection, persecution and worry about being deemed a loon can be put aside. Safety tip: make sure you’re not coming off like a crazy, and if presenting in-sane (oxymoron intended) concepts to the world, do so with respect for the archaic, retentive ideas of those you intend to influence and enlighten. Be grounded and practical. At the end of the day, people want to say that at the end of the day they had a better day because of your zany applications.



Jan 8 - Jupiter opposite Makemake. Refine your prowess, potential, creativity and magic. Take time to accurately assess resource requirements. Filter out exaggeration and boastful behaviors in lieu of concise calculation of what resources your goals need to fully blossom. Get ready to get going.



Jan 22 - Jupiter returns to Aries for a rather fast romp through the sign. Here we find Jupiter tracking lickety split through the Zodiac. Because he comes closest to the Sun in Aries, he travels fastest in this sign. Translation: When opportunities appear, answer the knock and do so swiftly. Otherwise, choose not to open the door and live with no regret.



Jan 23 - Uranus opposite Makemake. Just because your latest revelation presented to those whose assistance you sought was met with reaction similar to having said that ketchup/catsup is made from fruit, the validity of your claims must stand on their own merit. Weird requires an infusion of reality and practicality.



Jan 25 - Saturn stations going retrograde, 1° 16' short of an exact conjunction with Haumea. Structure is the backbone of any creative venture. Follow the format rules, dammit. Structure is the backbone of all creativity. In a literary world, if you go maverick in writing a novel or screenplay, for instance, you’ll be tossed in the bin without a read. Imagine, if you use a prettier font or fuss with the margins, it’ll be noted you cannot play by the rules and your creativity gets ignored - which Eris despises. Sorry rule breakers and nonconformists, that’s how it works. No need to waste a valid shot (transit) because you whipped up a flowery title page and used a font that looks like cursive writing; that in the real world spells a-m-a-t-u-e-r. As well, if you want to be taken seriously, make your writing perfect. No tyops, speling errors and stuff.



Mar 9 - Mercury enters Aries, joining the longer period pattern of Jupiter, Eris and Dark Moon Lilith in Aries. Add “think before you speak” to the notes to self.



Mar 11 - Uranus enters Aries (Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries). How do you make your way the right way? The old axiom of the right way, wrong way and my way (or Navy/Government way) applies.



Mar 21 - Sun enters Aries (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries). Work to keep in mind that the data dot you use in life for focus - the center of your Youniverse - is in free flow motion with the data dots of every other person and thing in creation.



Mar 28 - Jupiter opposes Saturn in Libra. Actually, this should be great. A built in system of checks and balances exists for about a week either side of this date. The blend of caution and courage offsets negative rashness, and/or the inability to observe details because of one’s high velocity through life and brash foolishness. Remember, even daredevil Evil Knievel, checked the wind before whisking off the precarious edge of a canyon wall in search of other side while flying crazily on a motorcycle. Monitor all systems on an ongoing basis, even after getting the green light to go. Airline pilots do that in flight. Apply the healthy concept of calculated risk. Negotiate as necessary without compromise. Wrap around the concept of systolic and diastolic heart actions.



Apr 2 - Mars enters Aries (Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries). Ah yes, the outdoor culinary expert decides that the coals do not heat fast enough for the cookout’s time line. Thus, a squirt of fire starter hits the coals, turns into a river of fire and blows up the can in the well-intentioned chef’s hands. Mis-en-place. Properly prepare every little detail of life. When putting the details into the motion of manifesting a great plan, follow the order and time line that guarantees success. Short cuts, while the intent is understood, should be avoided. At this point we stand on the cusp of Mercury going retrograde. While the detour down this street and that street makes sense, no doubt the GPS provider has not had a chance to document life’s latest sink hole one block away.



Apr 3 - Mars conjoins Uranus. As air traffic controllers are known to say, expedite your ascent... when it’s your turn, of course. Cutting off another in any arena of life is likely to provoke unfavorable and potentially aggressive reactions. Inattentiveness and multi-tasking without focusing on the tasks at hand are the mother of burns, cuts and accidents. Get in your body, ensuring you can feel your ankles and feet. Proceed briskly with vigilance.



Apr 4 - Mercury goes retrograde, conjunct Eris. More people will wonder why they have no new friends or tweet replies on this day than any day in three years. Feeling excluded? Socially inept? Get tuned into your real mission in life. Redefine where you belong. Reclaim your life. Get off the social networking sites, video games and any other distraction that provides you with what you believe is an opt out of life agenda. You’ll never get the full rich feeling that honestly achieved accelerated blood flow desires from simulated life (video game enhanced dopamine notwithstanding). No need to make anyone spell this out for you even if you cannot find the asteroids Cialis and Viagra in your horoscope.



Apr 10 - Jupiter opposes Haumea, Mercury conjunct, Sun conjunct Eris. Wow! Imagine that if you invoke your fullest and most potent creative aspirations and they do not receive immediate acclaim, which speaks nothing of the merit, quality or brilliance of your aspirations. While not congruent with Aries thinking, persistence and perseverance are attributes requiring more than four minutes of consecutive attention. To harvest the fruits of your creativity, become an attentive gardener of your psyche, talents and confidence.



Apr 19 - The Sun migrates into Taurus (Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries). The humidity-like quality of the air goes down a few points. Of course when an outdoor grill’s temperature drops from 600 to 550 degrees, you can still burn your meat or make your tofu too toasty.



Apr 20 - Venus enters Aries (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries), Mercury and Mars oppose Saturn. The grill now reads 625 after a stint at below 600. Venus adds phenomenal personal and social pressure to matters of money and relationship. Take a moment to review: Is what I want serving the ultimate goal of my incarnation?



Apr 28 - Jupiter conjunct Eris with Mars, Mercury and Venus oppose Saturn. Mark a window three days on either side of this date. Jupiter and Eris, when consciously conspiring, can reset any wrong in life. A restoration of position, reconsideration of talent or a proposal, or anything that furthers one dharma gets an upward push, assuming upward is the ideal direction to pursue.



Apr 29 - Mars conjunct Eris. No fighting. Play nice in the sand box. Back off when feelings get hurt. Work out how your actions may have been misinterpreted. Clear and reset your intention and give it another go. Of course, if you’ve been being a pain in the ass knock that crap off or enjoy the isolation created by being constantly cantankerous.



May 10 - Mars enters Taurus (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries). The maximum intensity starts its wind down. However, if you’ve learned to love intensity, you might unwittingly fabricate unproductive drama to keep your adrenalin flowing. The words, “It’s mine!” are heard louder and more frequently.



May 16 - Mercury and Venus enter Taurus (Jupiter, Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries) Symbolically, after foreplay, you get down to it and do the deed in the most savory manner possible. Here anything that you’ve carried as a banner needs to be stuck in the ground and around it an entire creative culture built. Attend to your sensuality in a huge way. With all that charge, all your senses should be heightened. Feel them all. Your senses and reactions are yours. While the planets in Aries tend to project one’s reality onto others, if others do not reciprocate, accept that reality.



Jun 3 - Jupiter enters Taurus (Uranus, Eris, Dark Moon Lilith in Aries) Okay, the pot of tapioca has come to a full boil. Hopefully, despite the impatience and inattention inherent in the Aries demeanor the pot has been constantly stirred to prevent burning and sticking. Now turn off the heat and let the pudding thicken. By this time of the year, all one’s cards for the balance of the year should be in play. Calming should follow. Cooler heads collectively guide the planet forward and soothe the Chicken-Littles of the world from the valence level of hysterical doom forecasting back to an effective, proceed with caution... or for those who have gone a bridge too far, retreat as fast as you can to your effectiveness zone. There’s still a short time to extract one’s efforts from collateral crossfire.



Sep 21 - Saturn conjunct Haumea. We’re back to the creativity formula from earlier in the year, though this time with more focus and ferocity. So, whatever editorial critiques have come your way, apply what makes sense. Find your bootstraps and the discipline to manifest major, long term creatively inspired projects. This is a window of receptivity to efforts well applied. Better to use such windows than miss them. Be clear, this is a window of presentation of what has been done... not the determination to do something big. Ideally, one who has been riding the wave all year has something fabulous to pitch and now sets sights on the manifestation of the next project. In line with Saturn to dwarf planets, the next big deal needs to be implemented by the time (sooner is okay) that Saturn meets Sedna (February 2014).



Oct 26 - Saturn opposes Eris. Draw the line. Determine which interaction with others, both in real life and online works for you. Cut loose of all affiliations and interactions that zap your vitality. By this time of year, you need to be impeccably dharma-driven. No one with a purpose has time for incidental distractions and nuisance demands that do not further.



Looking ahead, to 2012, on May 8th Jupiter will conjoin the enigmatic Sedna. On June 24th, Saturn opposes Eris on his station, going direct just 5 minutes of an arc short of an exact opposition.

Dec 31, Friday. The waning Moon passes 6.9 degrees S of Venus (23 Scorpio 08) at 6:11 am signaling the move of Venus through the second gate into the underworld a.k.a. the Gate of Perception where she is required to give up her Measuring Rod and Staff symbolizing her connection to her inner vision and cosmic perception. Ceremonial work around this theme is especially important for those who are in the eight year Venus return meaning someone who is turning a multiple of 8 (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 94, 102 etc) between Nov 4, 2010 and June 11, 2012.

Working with the imagery of the 6th Chakra through ceremony, prayer, visualization or meditation is especially helpful now. The Year Ahead


Life as we knew it is over. For 2011, 2012 and beyond, the game has definitely changed on Earth.

Economies, governments, businesses, education, social systems, the arts, sciences, technology and medicine all look radically different than they did just a few years ago.

Incoming cosmic frequencies are speeding up the changes. This has been going on for awhile now. In 2011, ramped-up evolutionary forces shift into overdrive. The reconfiguration is just beginning.

This week the sun sets on a year we'll never forget, and everyone's wondering what lies ahead.

The ancient and prophetic Mayan calendar is ending. The new year begins with an eclipse series, and four outer planets change signs in 2011. The writing's on the wall. The year is all about change.

The Forecast


Energetically, 2011 will feel much different from 2010. Partly this is due to cosmological phenomena predicted by Mayan, Aztec, Hindu, Egyptian and other ancient timekeeping systems. Partly it's because the large celestial bodies closest to us - the planets of our solar system - will rearrange in ways that facilitate the transmission of specific frequencies to Earth. Another reason 2011 will feel different is that we're getting better at dealing with constant change.

The context of this speeded-up evolutionary process is the great cycle shift known as the Turning of the Ages. This is a rare astrological, astronomical, cosmological, geophysical phenomenon encoded in the sacred calendars of many spiritual traditions on Earth.

I. Cosmic Initiation

Another wave of awakening will sweep the planet as the celestial and Earth energies peak several times during 2011.

The new year begins with two important eclipses that connect us with the creative force of the cosmos via the heart center of the Milky Way.

On December 21, the Sun, Earth and Moon aligned in a total lunar eclipse just hours before the Solstice, opening our hearts and minds to higher truth. In a rare cosmic convergence, the historic lunar event happened during the special period when our Sun aligns each year with the heart of the Milky Way, a galactic alignment related to the Mayan calendar and 2012. The dawn of 2011 continues with a Solar Eclipse on the Capricorn New Moon on January 4. As the new year and a new lunar cycle begin, Jupiter and Uranus will be exactly conjunct in late Pisces. Together they square the Galactic Center, creating another moment of divine initiation, an awakening for humanity and the Earth.

Later in January, Jupiter enters Aries, sign of the warrior. Uranus will follow in March. We witnessed the celestial combustion when these two powerhouse planets met in early Aries during the summer months of 2010 (winter in the southern hemisphere). When Jupiter, the Guru, and Uranus, the Awakener, again journey into the cosmic fire of Aries, sparks of insight, ingenuity and innovation will fly.

As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is associated with rebirth and new beginnings. In early 2011 both Jupiter and Uranus will complete their zodiacal journey in Pisces and begin a new cycle in Aries. The first degree of the first sign is an ultra-sensitive point in astrology. While Jupiter will zoom through Aries and into Taurus in 2011, Uranus moves more slowly and will hang around the initiation point for most of the year. The unpredictable nature of Uranus promises to surprise us both personally and collectively.

In February, the Universal Underworld of the Mayan Calendar begins, blowing open the walls of human perception and freeing us to experience our cosmic nature as divine co-creators. II. Earth in Balance

We'll need the mass doses of Uranian inspiration and ingenuity coming our way, because we've got some enormous challenges to deal with on our home planet. Uranus is the problem-solver in astrology, the renegade, the "think-different" planet.

The Earth herself will be in the spotlight again in 2011. Earth changes will continue, with peaks likely in March through August, and again in late November through the end of the year.

Perhaps the most stirring memory of 2010, for ages to come, will be the Gulf Oil disaster, which began as the Sun crossed into Taurus, and Uranus and Jupiter hovered in late Pisces. The most important planetary configuration of 2010, the Grand Cardinal Cross, formed in the heavens two months later as oil leaked uncontrollably from the sea floor. The cross has formed several times since, and will again in 2011.

Both Chiron and Neptune will enter the water sign Pisces in 2011, and attention will again be focused on the waters of the Earth. In June, Jupiter crosses into Taurus, the first Earth sign of the zodiac, further emphasizing the importance of healing and harmonizing with our life-giving mother.

Today the oil from the spill continues to devastate sensitive ecosystems in the gulf and surrounding areas. Clean-up has barely begun. Beyond the immediate problem of the spill itself lie the long-term environmental issues that came to light as a result of the incident. We need to pay attention to the messages of this disaster. The day-to-day choices we each make have an impact on our environment and the planet's natural resources.

In 2011, Neptune will journey into the watery realms of Pisces, and Jupiter will venture into Taurus, the sign most associated with our Earth mother. Pluto continues his 16-year transit of Capricorn, reminding us, among other things, that governments, corporations, education and other institutions must be more focused on the environment.

Words and awareness are not enough. Workable solutions and widespread, radical change are needed to address the environmental crisis now, before the unthinkable happens again.


III. Revolution

A compelling feature of the great cycle shift is the collection of energy around a central, quantum tipping point. This energy trough exists in the in-between period as one set of cosmic cycles ends and the next set begins. In the cusp or crease period between world ages, we can tap into the quantum field and make enormous changes very quickly. That time is now.

There have been other moments like this in human history, including the Industrial Revolution that mechanized our world and changed life as we knew it. That was back in 1755, which coincided with the beginning of the Planetary Underworld in Calleman's version of the Mayan calendar. The next cycle, called the Galactic Underworld, began in 1999 and ushered in the Information Age. Again, for many, life on Earth would never be the same.

In 2011, as we enter the Universal Underworld, the rate of change accelerates again, to a head-spinning once every 20 days. Changes that used to take a year during the Galactic Underworld (or 20 years during the Planetary Underworld) will take only 20 days. The new phase begins in February 2011.

Not only is the acceleration of consciousness on our side as we attempt to heal our world and change the course of history, planetary titans Uranus and Pluto will weigh in to support the revolution. Astrologically these are powerful, destructive and creative energies, and we'll need to be vigilant in focusing the waves of momentum unleashed through the ongoing square between these two planets.

Pluto in Capricorn facilitates the destruction of institutions, structures and systems, especially at a societal level, that no longer serve our rapid evolution as a species. Uranian energy strikes unexpectedly, like lightning, obliterating the old to make way for the new. Uranian energies also spark flashes of genius that can be focused toward innovative solutions.

We've experienced plenty of destructive energy in our world in recent centuries and decades. While the demolition of the old paradigm will continue in the new year, there's a shift into a more powerfully creative mode that will help us make changes and solve problems quickly, efficiently and proactively. The building of a new paradigm begins as the old falls away.


IV. Individuated Oneness

Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius, the sign of the next astrological age. While there's no single date when the 2,000-year Age of Aquarius begins, Uranus' entry into Aries is undoubtedly a significant moment in this transition.

With his layers of meaning, shrewd complexity and belligerent yet effective approach, this is a planet for our times. Uranus is the rebel with a cause. For each of us, cycles of Uranus represent our process of individuation as we seek our unique identity within a vast sea of consciousness. Collectively, Uranus guides our evolution toward a more humanitarian, egalitarian and enlightened society where the needs of the many outweigh the desires of a few.

A vast societal reorganization will be needed to fully realize human evolutionary potential, and Uranus is just the planet to help us make this transition.

On an individual level, the process requires that we each take responsibility for ourselves and commit to fulfilling our divine purpose at this crucial time in Earth's history.

Uranus and his sign, Aquarius, embody unity consciousness, the intrinsic oneness that underlies all of creation, as well as individuated soul expression. The Aquarian Age calls for teamwork, cooperation and collaboration that honors the unique talents and gifts of each individual.

Mercury completes its retrograde on December 30, 2010, fully engaging the new new 116-day Mercury synodic cycle (presented above). Since this is the end of this lunar cycle, this new Mercurial theme will start to express more so in the following lunar cycle.

The Balsamic Moon occurs on December 31 and conjoins Venus on the cusp of sidereal Scorpio. Venus synchronizes with both the Crescent Moon and the Balsamic Moon, when Venus is at is easter and western elongations (the furthest points from the Sun during Vcnus' orbit as seen from Earth; i.e. when Venus is the morning and evening star. See E-motions of the Heart. Venus, currently at its western elongation, can be seen with the Balsamic Moon just before sunrise in the eastern sky.

During these Venus-Moon coherencies, our attention is brought back to Matters of the Heart (all Venus related issues). Because these coherencies occur before the end of one Venus synodic cycle and after the start of the next, they emphasize the Venus synodic cycle transition. Our new Earth-Venus synodic cycle recently began on October 29, 2010, and was presented in the October 7, 2010 Lunar Planner.

The Venus Balsamic Moon, lying on the cusp of sidereal Scorpio, in the clutches of the Scorpion and facing the Scorpion's head. Venus, in the last couple degrees of sidereal Libra conjoins Unukalahi of Serpens; Alpha Lupus; and Beta Centauri. The Moon, on the Scorpio cusp, conjoins Beta Lupus; Zubenelakrab of Libra (Scorpio); Mu Serpens; and the Irregular Galaxy NGC 2915 of the Chameleon, the shapeshifter.

Early sidereal Scorpio teaches us how to graduate from the karmic clutches of naivete, from falling prey as victims to the entrapping forces around us, fighting in struggle to live, and to realize that we experience a wide dynamic of forces that mold our experience; and that it is up to us to claim our mastery in the midst of these forces.

The first few degrees of sidereal Scorpio, approaching the head of the Scorpion, resides in the domain the benevolent Centaur, who teaches the right way to live to attain our self-mastery in the physical world and subsequently to claim our freedom from entrapment in our antiquated patterns and life scenarios.

Here the theme of sacrifice and offerings arise, but sacrifice does not mean self-sacrifice, in the true sense of the word it means to give up a lower office for a higher office. When offering up the lesser (lesser modes of involvement or patterns of behavior), we are also faced with taking on a greater responsibility, moving from victim consciousness, where we feel powerless and merely acquiesce to the conditions of life in which we find ourselves--caught in the clutches of the Scorpion--to taking responsibility for our life scenarios and consciously choosing a life path that supports our experiential growth, our emotional and spiritual maturity, and our physical wellbeing and fulfillment.

The Centaurian training is not merely an intellectual understanding of these principles but is wisdom gained through an experiential journey moment-by-moment that leads us to true inner transmutation at a neurological level. Such wisdom results in the inner realization that makes self-mastery of the primal forces of life actualized and right action crystal clear. Here we learn to assemble the wisdom gained from our life experience as personal intent, and use that intent to mold the raw creative forces of life that define our experience.

Also conjoining from the southern heavens is Alpha Chamaeleon, generally a symbol of adaptability, change and new beginnings, the Chamaeleon articulates the ability to adjust to any situation, but not through subservience or acquiescence, but in mastery of self and with intuitive sensitivity and individuality.

Vesta & PholusThe Moon conjoins the asteroid Vesta and the Centaur Pholus, just as Vesta and Pholus conjoin on January 1-2, 2011, bringing attention to our need for clarity of focus and conviction to utilize the mysterious and catalytic influences that Pholus may have provided in this lunar cycle.

Thus, the seed coalesces for this lunar cycle, which will sprout anew in the following lunar cycle. Our next New Moon occurs on January 4, 2011 in sidereal Sagittarius just as Jupiter and Uranus make their final conjunction in early sidereal Pisces. From The Lunar Planner

The Sirius-New Years Connection

At Midnight on New Year's Eve, we are directly 'downstream' from Sirius


I've often written in this newsletter that the Gregorian Calendar is essentially a "banking" calendar, established for commerce and the paying of bills. I've often advocated our need to bring other calender-awarenesses into our culture, such as the seasonal calendar (the Mayans called it the Haab) which recognizes Solstices and Equinoxes and other seasonal points within the year; and also a more sacred calendar such as the Tzolkin.

But this is one of those times whenthe Gregorian Calendar is right on the mark! Deeply embedded in our cultural celebrations of "ringing out the old and ringing in the new" is a celestial fact that indeed showers us with the blessings of a new beginning.

Around mid-night local time on New Year's Eve the triple star Sirius (the brightest fixed star in our sky) is found directly overhead on the mid-heaven infusing the earth with its starry energy. Because Sirius is the brightest star in our sky, in antiquity it was known as The Shining One or The Scorcher. The Egyptians called Sirius Isis and built their calendar around the rising and setting of this magnificent star. In addition, the Egyptians felt that Sirius could bringimmortality to humans.


Freya Owlsdottir shares this info about Sirius: "The Sirius system is directly "upstream" of our solar system within the galactic arm of our Milky Way Galaxy. Because of this, we now know that the polarized energies of Sirius do indeed wash over us. By coming directly towards us, Sirius creates an axis of rotation with Earth relative to the stellar background. Because of this, of all the stars in the sky, only the annual heliacal rising (meaning its visible rising just before the Sun) of Sirius exactly matches the length of our solar year, 365.25 days.



Even today, unbeknownst to most of the people of the world, ourNew Years Eve celebration is a celebration of Sirius' presence directly overhead at midnight. Around January 1st, this midnight alignment marks the moment when the energies of Sirius most closely touch our lives in their most singular purity. Without knowing the hidden reason, we mark this midnight moment by jumping for joy as the rush of this vital connection surges through us.


To be in conscious attendance of Sirius's positional relationship in the midheaven at midnight enables us to receive the empowerment of the Spirit of Sirius directly into our lives.


Sirius is a double or binary star, (the Dogon peoples of Africa have maintained for centuries the existence of not one, but two companions of Sirius, even long before astronomers were able to telescopically perceive the now-acknowledged companion known as Sirius B.) This companion to Sirius is a very dense and small star that, nonetheless, has immense impact on the rotational pattern of Sirius.



In their dual gravitational pull upon one another, Sirius and its companion form a beautiful spiral dance. As they rotate relative to their respective gravitational fields, Sirius and Sirius B are observedto twist around each other in a helix-like spiral that has, over the course of its 50 year cycle, the expansive/contractive design of the Golden Proportion. The Golden Proportion is a geometric pattern that is evident in all natural forms, from the seed-heads of a sunflower to the relative proportions of our own bodies and the motions of hurricanes.


Sirius imprints upon us a realignment of our own vibrational patterns, touched by the perfection of the Golden Proportion. If we have gone astray from our original DNA blueprint of balance and harmony - for instance through toxic food, air, thoughts etc. - the Sirian influence reestablishes balance and harmony within our Body/Mind/Soul.
