The Full Moon occurs on August 24 in early sidereal Aquarius. The Sun also conjoins Orcus in early sidereal Leo. Thus the planetary alignment is Orcus-Sun-Earth-Moon. This alignment also aspects the Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn T-square. The Earth-Sun-Orcus alignment marks the mid-point of vision and realization in the current Earth-Orcus synodic cycle. Thus the day after this Full Moon may bring a fused revelation regarding the theme of this lunar cycle and the role of Orcus in our lives.

Orcus was discovered on Feb 19, 2004. Although Orcus is a bit smaller than Pluto, Orcus has a nearly identical orbital size, orbital period (year), and orbital inclination. However, Orcus' orbital plane's orientation in our solar system is tilted in the opposite direction from Pluto's. For this reason, I tend to think of Orcus as Pluto's compliment. Just as Pluto has Charon as its primary moon, so too does Orcus have a moon, Vanth, discovered on Nov 13, 2005. Just as Pluto and Charon are considered a dual planetary system, so is Orcus and Vanth.

Although new to the astrological world and thus with an astrological influence not yet fully comprehended, based on Orcus' orbital parameters, Orcus addresses how we are applying our personal will for the greater well being of all humanity; how we are contributing to human society. Orcus' nodal axis motivates the use of our day-to-day lives, our daily activity for soul's greater purpose on Earth. Orcus seems to express a quiet profundity, almost unnoticed as it serves us to get in touch with our deeper soul essence and purpose--the oaths of our souls--what we are really doing here on Earth. The Helix Nebula in Aquarius

This infrared image from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope shows the Helix nebula, a cosmic starlet often photographed by amateur astronomers for its vivid colors and eerie resemblance to a giant eye.

The nebula, located about 700 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius, belongs to a class of objects called planetary nebulae. Discovered in the 18th century, these colorful beauties were named for their resemblance to gas-giant planets like Jupiter.

Planetary nebulae are the remains of stars that once looked a lot like our sun. When sun-like stars die, they puff out their outer gaseous layers. These layers are heated by the hot core of the dead star, called a white dwarf, and shine with infrared and visible colors. Our own sun will blossom into a planetary nebula when it dies in about five billion years.

In Spitzer's infrared view of the Helix nebula, the eye looks more like that of a green monster's. Infrared light from the outer gaseous layers is represented in blues and greens. The white dwarf is visible as a tiny white dot in the center of the picture. The red color in the middle of the eye denotes the final layers of gas blown out when the star died.

The brighter red circle in the very center is the glow of a dusty disk circling the white dwarf (the disk itself is too small to be resolved). This dust, discovered by Spitzer's infrared heat-seeking vision, was most likely kicked up by comets that survived the death of their star. Before the star died, its comets and possibly planets would have orbited the star in an orderly fashion. But when the star blew off its outer layers, the icy bodies and outer planets would have been tossed about and into each other, resulting in an ongoing cosmic dust storm. Any inner planets in the system would have burned up or been swallowed as their dying star expanded.

So far, the Helix nebula is one of only a few dead-star systems in which evidence for comet survivors has been found.

The Full Moon lies just past Neptune and Chiron and conjoins Enif of Pegasus and the pulsar 2217+47 in Cygnus. Also of influence is nearby Sadalmelik of Aquarius.

Pegasus, in general, is of strength and support, that which lifts humanity above the entrapping forces and scenarios common to a less than socially mature world. Enif, Baham and Homam are a group of fortuitous stars that lie over the Aquarian waterbearer, forming the head of Pegasus. Enif of Pegasus, the nose of the flying horse, brings intuitiveness and sensitivity to the humanitarian / Aquarian pursuit. Enif is characteristic of altruistic people, those with the intuitive awareness to recognize what is of essence, of value, and worthy of humanitarian support. It is of those who are capable of providing material and financial support and who have the sensitivity to do so. Enif asks us to follow our intuition to do that which is truly supportive to our greater well being and to those around us. Homam, Zeta Pegasus, is "lucky star of the hero," also "lucky star of the high-minded man." Homam, Baham, and Enif embodies the essence of the Pegasus theme in its wisdom. Homan and Baham inspire the inner drive to find a solution to our basic human needs. All of these stars are of achievement and success.

Conjoining Enif is Pulsar PSR 2217+47 of Cygnus. Pulsars are "beacons for the soul." Pulsars are neutron (collapsed) stars that emit electrically neutral, subatomic particles at consistently dependable pulsating intervals. They are one of the means through which "Evolutionary Intelligence" communicates through the heavenly hierarchy of consciousness of which we are a part. Pulsars are usually found along the galactic equatorial plane and thus provide an ever-present guiding message associated with our greater evolutionary purpose as sentient souls incarnating on Earth. A pulsar's messages is received in our sub-atomic coding that transcends the gross level of language and human diversity. This guidance expresses as a continuous and dependable subtle current articulating through the zodiakal character created by the conjoining stars. Pulsars guide us in our spiritual growth and evolutionary fulfillment. They require we listen to and patiently follow the subtle soul-level impulses guiding us in our daily lives----this is about trusting the impulses of Spirit.

This specific pulsar, PSR 2217+47, has a period of 0.5384673780 seconds which translates to a fundamental frequency of 1.8571227445 Hz., the alpha brain wave frequency of 7.428490978 Hz., the audio frequency of 237.711711296 Hz., and the light wavelength of 5733.8 Ångstroms (a yellow-lemon color); with a cross-resonance to Earth’s "Circumference Harmonic"--thus interacting directly with the emotional and psychic weather of human collective consciousness and daily global affairs.

This specific pulsar beacon reminds us to use our intuitive capacity to discern when and how to apply our humanitarian capacity through the emotional and psychic weather of collective human consciousness and daily global affairs. It also stimulates the need to make a definitive choice, to bring to completion any process of perpetual deliberation. In essence, a purging of mind is required, to move from diversity (fragmented) consciousness, which is driven by the mindsets of collective human consciousness, to the wholeness of essence consciousness, to participate from our individual soul-level truth, which is articulated by the star Deneb of Cygnus. It also expands us from the concept of personal family to soul family.

This is also fitting with the nature of Orcus--living true to one's soul oath.

The Grand T-square Begins to Dissipate
The Moon conjoins Jupiter and Uranus, squares Pluto and opposes Saturn on August 26-27, just before the Disseminating Moon, triggering the Grand T-square. Jupiter, in its retrograde, is now moving away from its exact aspect with Pluto and Saturn, as it moves to create its next Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, which occurs in the following lunar cycle. The upward swing of Jupiter (violet) in the Graphic Ephemeris below is Jupiter's retrograde.

August 24, Tuesday. The Pisces Full Moon (01 Pisces 26) is exact at 10:04 am. The Moon is in Picses but as you can see from above Sky Map is located int he constellation of the Waterbearer. (see article on Difference between Signs and Constellations.) In the hero’s quest as described by Joseph Campbell this phase of the Moon relates to the Mystical Marriage or Apotheosis. Apotheosis is a term that describes when a person becomes like God or is elevated to divine status – sometimes referred to as the mystical marriage with the divine. It turns out that Pisces is the archetype most connected to mystical union with the divine

This is the phase in the cycle where the goal of the journey is reached, the seeds have matured and are bearing fruit, the gifts are received when we are open to receive them creating an opportunity to remember and experience our divinity. Watching the Full Moon inspires our connection to what is coming into fruition through our visions and dreams. The Disseminating Moon occurs on August 28 in late sidereal Pisces, less than two degrees from Eris, the Great Disrupter. Eris, a very slow mover, is deep in the belly of Cetus the technobureaucratic monster created by collective human consciousness. Eris has been conjoining Revati of Pisces and Baten Kaitos; which, I suggest, adds a significant dynamic to the dramatic disruption occurring in the global economy. August 26, Thursday. The Moon conjuncts Uranus (29 Pisces) at 7 pm and moves into Aries at 7:49 pm passing retrograde Jupiter (1 Aries 35) at 10:51pm. This timing combines the mysteries of Uranus and Pisces expressing as radical compassion with Jupiter in Aries as the Warrior Hero/ine committed to the cause of reclaiming and protecting the cosmic order of life. The Moon then is illuminating possibilities further expansding these revolutionary expressions that come from knowing the transformative power of genuine compassion for self and others.

August 27, Friday. Neptune (27 Aquarius 06) and Chiron (28 Aquarius 11) both currently retrograde are moving within one degree by August 31 and will station within about a degree of each other around November 6. This long interaction of Chiron and Neptune so close together has been a feature of the last couple of years, last year this alignment was amplified by Jupiter. Neptune initiates from the Celestial World in ways that are designed to increase our intuition or inner knowing. Chiron initiates from the Underworld where we encounter shadow elements whether they be unresolved woundings and fears, or our greatest talents and gifts that also bring up our fears or may just be forgotten parts of ourselves.

Aquarian Egalitarian ideals are expressed in the 1960’s musical Hair and the song Aquarius that celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2008 and was all over the internet when Jupiter and Mars were conjunct in Aquarius mid-February of 2009. The Mutating Mars Hoax

August 25, 2010: It spreads, it mutates, it refuses to die.

For the seventh year in a row, the Mars Hoax is infecting email boxes around the world. Passed from one reader to another, the message states that on August 27th Mars will approach Earth and swell to the size of a full Moon. "NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN," the email declares--all in caps.

News flash: It's not true.

Here are the facts. On August 27, 2010, Mars will be 314 million km from Earth, about as far away as it can get. Mars will shine in the western sky after sunset like a tiny red star of ordinary brightness. If you didn't know it was there, you probably wouldn't notice.

The origins of the Hoax can be traced back to 2003 when Mars really did swell to unusual proportions. On August 27th of that year, Mars came within 56 million km of Earth—the nearest it has been in 60,000 years. People marveled at the orange brilliance of Mars in the night sky and crowded around telescopes for clear views of the planet's towering volcanoes, ruddy plains and glistening polar ice caps. At the height of the display, Mars was about 75 times smaller than the full Moon.

That's when "the virus" was born.

Someone, somewhere, reasoned as follows: If Mars is 75 times smaller than the Moon, then magnifying it 75 times should make it equal to the Moon. Early versions of the Hoax encouraged readers to get out their telescopes and insert a 75x eyepiece: "At a modest 75 times magnification," the message stated, "Mars will look as big as the full Moon to the naked eye."


Soon, the Hoax was vectoring around the internet, making copies of itself and mutating. Advanced versions of the virus, sleeker and less wordy than its ancestors, omitted the magnification and simply stated, "Mars will look as big as the full Moon to the naked eye!" Before long, the year was omitted, too. August 27, 2003, became August 27, and the Hoax became immortal. Indeed, years of stories contradicting the Hoax have failed to stamp it out. This is the fourth vaccination by Science@NASA alone.

Tolerant readers point out that the Mars Hoax is not really a hoax, because it is not an intentional trick. The original composer probably believed everything he or she wrote in the message. If so, even the name of the Mars Hoax is wrong!

Here's what you should do on August 27th. Go outside at sunset and face west. The bright light you see shining through the twilight is lovely Venus. Grab a pair of binoculars and scan the sky around Venus. A few degrees to the right, you'll come across a little orange star-like object. That is Mars.

Now go back inside and delete that email.

STAR ALIGNMENT OF THE GREAT CENTRAL STARMAP SEPTEMBER 3RD
The light pathways of these star alignments are now awakening the light codes within our Divine Blueprint. The light codes from THE GREAT CENTRAL STARMAP and the light doorways that shine through to the Earth plane as anchored through the 13th Gate last year are now anchoring the templates that encompasses all the worlds and dimensions of Earth, our Solar System, Galaxy and Universe.

It does not matter where you are located physically, and you do not need to know the locations physically of the Starmap either, I do not know either, as they are moving and changing still at present and the energies are not ready to fully anchor just yet as humanity is not quite ready. This is establishing the Starmap into the New Earth. It was anchored into the third density Earth at the September Equinox, 13th Gate and December Solstice 2009. Now as the light codes have illuminated through the Light Grids, Crystalline Grids and Diamond Light Matrix enough light is shinning to allow for the New Earth to be more fully in our lives as our natural reality of peace and harmony, love, honoring each other and the Earth and living with joy in this abundant creation that is our divine right.

Days Out of Time and Reality Shifts

Sometimes there are days when it is easy to step outside time and enter
realities you're creating in consciousness. To the outer appearance, you
are still going about your day but internally you have stepped outside
your usual flow of consciousness and are experiencing realities that
have not yet manifest in the physical. As we try on these realities, we
learn to walk around inside them. This helps us find new ways to anchor
them into our daily life.

At times we may look at the world through the lens of a new and not yet
manifest reality. This allows the feeling states of this new reality to
inform our moment-by-moment choices. As we experience and perceive our
new interior realities, we hasten their existence in our daily life.
This is how we shift to new timelines and new identities.

The planetary energies are vamping up again as we draw closer to the potent September Equinox, occurring on September 22nd in the Americas and September 23rd in Europe. It may feel as if the astrological forces are taking aim at you, but there is a way to optimally manage the 'Cosmic Crosshairs'.

So now, that you have all come thru the intensity of the Cardinal Grand Cross, its time to go into introspection within the current weeks waning full moon, and the retrograde energies of Mercury that are being amplified in their effect. In fact five planets are in retrograde between now and Sept 12 : Mercury - Jupiter - Neptune - Uranus -Pluto . But don't panic, while this is an energy of lethargy, and requisite travel & communication cautions, it also has a silver lining. Iti s a superb time to go inward.

Take time to bring in well being thru meditation !!!




All will be felt more deeply as you begin to sense the potent pull of the September Equinox, now just over three weeks away. This energy can be trying, but can also be a serendipitously profound phase for deep meditation.

Mercury' s retro will be especially powerful for reasons beyond the scope of planetary angles, relating more to the extraordinary 'Grid' energies aligning for the 10-10-10.

As in all Mercury retrogrades, communication and travel are effected. The energies over the next 3 weeks, in the declining moon will feel heavy and heavier. Miscommunications can be rampant, and can degrade relationships if care is not taken. Misunderstandings will be especially easy in written word, emails etc... so take all with a grain of salt, and give seeming errant communications a few days before reply. Be calm, and give one another space.

Those in imbalance will seem quite erratic and prone to overboard and inaccurate reactions. That 'prying nosey neighbor' or 'jealous co-worker' may well launch into over-drive. Take a deep breath and do not over react.



In fact, over the next 3 months, especially during the current retros...there are some exquisite energies for expanded introspection and deep meditation around relationships, health and home. Use these for both inner and exterior house-clearing & cleaning. This period can be very productive in terms of working on the self during the intense gravities.

It will also be a time when many at the end of their journeys will chose to pass over. If you have a parent or elder relative dealing with infirmities, take extra time to spend with them.For their is an opening during this equinoxial phase that is opportune for facil and clear exit and transition ,and many will chose to depart within it.

Two new FU Orionis variables in Cygnus
August 27, 2010

Two new eruptive, pre-main sequence stars of FU Orionis type have
recently been discovered in Cygnus. Observations of both are encouraged
to better characterize the behaviors of these two objects.

The first object was an outburst of the star HBC 722 reported by E.
Semkov and S. Peneva (Inst. of Astronomy, Sofia, Bulgaria) in ATel #2801
(2010 Aug 17). The object was reported to have risen by R=3.3
magnitudes over the time span of 2010 May 13 to 2010 August 16.
Subsequent spectroscopy reported by U. Munari et al. (ATel #2808, 2010
Aug 23) support this object's classification as an FU Orionis ("FU")
star. Munari et al. reported the object at V=14.04 on 2010 Aug 21.9.

The second object was a new optical source discovered by K. Itagaki
(Yamagata, Japan) on 2010 Aug 23.745 (JD 2455432.245) and reported in
CBET 2426 (D.W.E. Green, editor). As noted by H. Yamaoka in CBET 2426,
the object appears faintly near magnitude 20 on a DSS image taken on
1990 Sep 11, but not on other plates. The confirming optical image
(CBET 2426) reported the object at an unfiltered magnitude of "about
13.8". Subsequent spectroscopy and photometry of this object by U.
Munari (CBET 2428) showed that this object also has the characteristics
of an FU Ori star. Munari reported the object at V=14.91 on 2010 Aug
26.83.

The first object has the name "HBC 722" in AAVSO VSX. It is located at
the following (J2000) coordinates:

RA: 20 58 17.03 , Dec: +43 53 43.4


The second object has been assigned the name "VSX J205126.1+440523" in
AAVSO VSX. It is located at the following (J2000) coordinates:

RA: 20 51 26.19 , Dec: +44 05 23.6


Neither object currently has assigned comparison stars, so please
clearly indicate your comparison and check stars when submitting data.


Please use the names "HBC 722" and "VSX J205126.1+440523" when
submitting data to the AAVSO.

I DEFINITELY think many of us have gone RETROGRADE
this past week ---i was getting use to the high speed momentum down like a rollercoaster and now this slow as molasses regular time (old) doesn't fit me anymore.
I think my vibration has speeded up that it doesn't like the
retrograde "stop"-"slow" momentum that was normal for me
years ago.
I am definitely Retrograde

The majority of the day, as well as the first two days of this week, are under the influence of the slower-paced energy of Taurus and as such suggest a calm, moderate approach to activities.

Wednesday, Thursday: the Moon is in Gemini
While some communication scenarios will get mixed up or become confusing because of the current Mercury retrograde, Moon in Gemini is still a good time to contact people and enjoy some interpersonal relating. Friday, Saturday: the Moon is in Cancer
Home, family, good food and good cheer are on the agenda for this weekend.
