August 21, Sunday. The Last Quarter Moon (28 Taurus 30) at 2:54 pm is very near the Pleiades a star group mythically representing a Star Gate to other realms and dimensions. In the book, The Peacemaker and The New Key of Life, William Henry describes the mythic lore of the Pleiades as the home of the dove-goddesses or Hathors who guard the gate to Tula. He goes on to say “Understanding the Pleiades as the star gate to Tula explains why in many religious traditions the soul transforms into a dove at death…” Henry says Tula represents Heaven on Earth, Shambala, and the New Jerusalem. Tuning into this return threshold of the Moon through the energy of the Pleiades and the medicine of the dove may further facilitate the power of this Timing. Doves are known for their ability to communicate between worlds as messengers of peace, purity, and love. They also symbolize new life emerging. The Moon passes 2.3 degrees S of the Pleiades (29 Taurus) at 5:00 pm so will be visible beyond the Pleiades tomorrow morning before sunrise.

Venus passes .9 degrees NNE of Regulus (29 Leo 59) at 3:00 pm.

August 22, Monday. The Sun is conjunct Regulus at it reaches exact opposition to Neptune (29 Aquarius 31) at 4:26 pm. The royal fixed star Regulus, Heart of the Lion, is one of the four royal stars that was Watcher of the North and linked with Raphael, the Healing Archangel. According to the book Starlight Elixirs and Cosmic Vibrational Healing by Michael Smulkis and Fred Rubenfeld Regulus assists in unblocking buried subconscious patterns. They suggest that working with this star over time brings a sense of appreciation and understanding of how we fit into our patterns. From this place of compassionate understanding, self-love, and self-awareness we are better able to gently transform any limiting patterns with loving patience and self-acceptance

The heart of the lion reminds us to love ourselves and each other. The ancient mysteries of the Sphinx and the Hall of Records (also located in our DNA) are linked to this area of the sky. The Sun with Regulus opposite Neptune is a rare once-in-165-year configuration opening a portal from the Celestial Realms to further activate our divine design as it relates to the mysteries of the heart and self-love.

This is a time to be tuning in and asking how we can more fully live our Radiant, Shining, Divine essence already programmed into our DNA codes? How do we manifest these codes in our everyday reality for our greatest good? How do we open our hearts to the expressions of pure love within us?

We may not know the answers to these questions, however, the important thing is to be asking the questions. When we ask questions, especially heart felt questions, then answers can come but if we aren’t even asking then we can not magnetize the answers to us. These questions help us to raise our personal and collective frequencies expanding our awareness of our true selves.

When asking these types of questions it may trigger a clearing of the beliefs and patterns not aligned with our divine essence. It can be challenging to feel there is any progress or self love when we are in this clearing process. Being sincerely commit to healthy actions in daily life that support the experience of self-love supports this process. (See August Intro) When in especially challenging times it is good to take a time-out and be in nature, do something fun and creative, spend time with friends who are fun and supportive. Make a list of activities that help create the experience of feeling loving towards yourself and refer to it when you are overwhelmed or feeling challenged as that is often the time it is most difficult to remember ways to love and support yourself.

The Sun Neptune opposition marks the mid-point of Neptune’s Retrograde journey that lasts until November 9 when Neptune stations direct at 28 Aquarius 08. This is an important gateway in the Neptune initiation process, especially for those who have planets, nodes, or angles between 28 Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio and One degree of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

The purpose of a planetary Retrograde is to take us deeper into the archetypal mysteries of that planet. The Neptune mysteries govern ideals, visions, dreams, intuitive guidance, and the place where dreams become reality. Being willing to NOT know and asking questions, listening for answers, staying attuned to inner guidance, noticing synchronicities are some ways our questions get answered in a Neptune transit. The shadow side of Neptune expresses through confusion, uncertainty, illusions, loosing touch with reality, and what it really takes to manifest our dreams and desires in this dimension. This timing is one of the deepest, most inner-directed times for accessing our own “big picture” through inner processes. When we are in touch with our inner knowing, we know what steps are needed to fulfill our dreams.

The waning crescent Moon passes 6.4 degrees N of Aldebaran, the eye of the Bull, at 3:00 pm one of the 15 magical stars also called the Behenian Stars by the ancient alchemists. Aldebaran was seen as the silver gate where souls entered this realm and is the key (or ankh to the Egyptians) to this gate or dimensional experience that the High Man (Orion) holds in his hand.
