MAJOR INFLUENCES – HARNESSING ENERGY FOR CREATIVITY AND TRANSFORMATION



We are beginning to move closer to a major planetary event in May which is creating drama and resistance as the old forms are breaking away for greater individual liberty. At the same time there is a powerful Pisces influence with six planets lined up in that sign. As we get closer to the New Moon on March 11th there is the potential to create a flood of divine consciousness, but also to drown our intelligence in a sea of confusion. However, a harmonious alignment during this time ensures that if we avoid laziness and apply discipline to our lives now, healing can occur and we will gain greater wisdom.

This is helpful because if we're not careful an influence of optimism and confidence brings good feelings, but also can draw us away from the process of healing if we're not careful. A lack of attention could cause the healing of wounds to be more painful than it would otherwise be. On the other hand, there are many opportunities for healing and growth now if we can stay the course rather than flee to more comfortable territory.

Mercury, traveling retrograde, is very active during the period leading up to the New Moon. If we can understand that these reversals are a natural phase of the ebb and flow of life, we can enjoy a sense of the magic that is available now.

For the first ten days of the month there is an influence of hearmony and sociability which helps to smooth out the wrinkles of Mercury's retrograde travels and travails, but on the 4th and 5th of the month things are not always what they seem - emotional pain or hurt feelings are likely coming from within, not from others.

The mind is very active during this period (March 4th through the New Moon on the 11th) That gives us greater access to reason and helps us to process healing and transformation through the mental realm. With Mercury retrograde we are more easily able to look back into the past to see where our feelings or difficulties may have originated, and plan ways to move through into a brighter future.

The Pisces New Moon on March 11th is a very significant event since it forms a nearly exact trine to the North Node of the Moon, the point that serves as a gateway to our future. As the beginning of a new lunar cycle, a New Moon (actually the darkest point of the lunar cycle) wipes the slate clean and offers an opportunity for a new start. As the last sign in the zodiac, Pisces is all about letting go, surrendering to a more transcendent experience - an experience of bliss and universal love. However, like all things astrological there is another side to Pisces which I like to call illusion, confusion and delusion. The same misty beauty that unlocks the doors of creativity and assists us in ascending to a higher realm can cloud our judgment and cause us to lose our way.

With seven planets now in Pisces, we can lose our sense of balance. If ever there was a time to let go and unwind old hurts and grudges, this is it. This process will be most difficult for those of us (like me!) with a preponderance of fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus) that tend to hold on tightly and resist adaptation. But just because something is difficult doesn't mean it's not important, and this is a very important New Moon for the awakening of consciousness.

Because the creative process depends upon the opening of the heart to the divine, this will be a fantastic New Moon for artists, musicians, writers - anything involving creative expression and flow. It's also, of course, an important time for meditation and spiritual practice.

On March 17th Mercury will turn direct, concluding the retrograde period. As it changes direction its movement will still be slow for a week or so and it may take that long for communication glitches to end and the sense of moving forward to take hold again.

Between the 14th and the 18th be especially careful during this period to eat well and pay attention to the food that you are using to nourish your bodies.

The Spring Equinox occurs on March 20th at 7:02 am when the Sun enters Aries. The chart for the solstices and equinoxes are often used to forecast events for the season, and this looks like it will be a fiery spring.

The image here is of the tribe being completely transformed by outside forces through battles and potential warfare in order to throw away the shackles of oppression and emerge in liberation from institutions of alienation and separation. It's a powerful time, to be sure.

Between the Equinox and the 27th the road could get a little rocky. During this time watch for incidents of road rage and aggression of all kinds. Physical exercise is important during times like this when Mars creates an intense need for action. Exercise and activity are the key here - release as much of this energy through positive means and you will be less likely to find yourself in difficult situations.

This leads up to the Full Moon on March 27th with four planets in Aries, so we have moved from the transcendence of Pisces to the fire and assertive force of Aries. At this Full Moon we have even greater potential to create magic through focusing the Will and desires. This means that it is incredibly important to use conscious awareness of what you desire at this time, because it is likely to be fulfilled.

All of this Aries energy opposes the Libra Moon, which is much more polite and tends to withdraw from conflict. Libra is the sign of balance in any case – striving for balance in a polarized world. In this lunation, where the force of Libra’s opposite polarity, Aries, is so powerful, that balance will be much harder to achieve. But achieve balance we must – that is the lesson of the Libra Full Moon.

Leave room for surprises on the 28th, and perhaps a chance meeting that could change your life. This is an excellent day for business ventures.

The 29th, however, could bring up some challenging memories. That will not be a great day for concentration, but a deeper understanding is not only possible, but likely.

On the 31st, the last day of the month, relationships will intensify and old hurts may arise, but any difficulties are moved through quickly and with compassion and grace.

Felicity
Perfect rhythm
Regeneration
Resurrection

It is a favorable number, associated to the prosperity.

The Pythagoreans have made the number 8 the symbol of the love and the friendship, the prudence and the thinking and they have called it the Great “Tetrachtys”. Eight is also solidarity and stability.

The lotus is represented symbolically with 8 petals and according to yogis, it is on a lotus with 8 petals that the “Mêru” mount is erected which, symbolically, represents the center and the axis of the world. Eight is the total number of Chakras of the man, counting the seven in correlation with the physical body, plus an additional working in the etheric body. This eighth Chakra is known as being “the Chakra of the Soul” or “the Star Chakra”. It would be located approximately 7 to 10 centimeters above of the Crown Chakra.
The eight great gods of the Vedas: Surya, Candra, Agni, Yama, Varuna, Indra, Vâyu and Kubera. Spiritually eight is the goal of the initiate, having gone through the seven stages. Eight is Infinity – Paradise regained.

It is also interesting to note that you cannot fold a paper more than 8 times.

There are eight winds and intermediate directions of space.

Morning from Oz Angels - the earth is ringing like a bell over here. I agree some awesome energies last few days. I had a visit 2 days ago - unseen beings, lots of them, their energies brought tears to my eyes, their message was clear that everything is ok - I don't get many hugs these days, their hugs and comfort will do me anyday.

Three things are going to happen in the next 24 hours which are going to ramp up the currently already ramped up energy to even new levels. Possibly impossible levels. First up, Miss Bossy Boots. Yes, in just over 3 hours, VENUS is going to go from Dr Jekyll to Ms Hide when she moves from sweet, dreamy, pretty Little Miss Pisces to I Want It and I Want It NOW Veruca Salt-esque Ms Aries. The references to Miss and Ms are quite deliberate, just in case you were wondering ;-). The Venus entry into Aries will make it 4 planets in the Sign Of The Ram - and the shift in zodiacal power and balance shifts. A couple of hours after that is #2. Madam Look At Me & Centre Stage. Yes, the MOON will be moving into LEO later today, upping the ante big time as both Fire energy and Ego energy reign supreme. Because it's all about MOI and its all about the drama, dare you not pay enough attention to Moi. Hrumph. But on the flip side, creative juices will be flowing and we'll just want to play. Key being to Play Nice. And then, as a fitting finale, MARS will exact his growing conjunction to fire ball URANUS at just over 8 degrees ARIES in just under 18 hours - and the fuse is lit. If its somehow not abundantly clear yet, this is not just a period of high energy - it's high octane Rocket Fuel. And it's feeding Ego/Core self orientation. So be aware because there is potential for an overloaded circuit, personal or otherwise - best to try and get some exercise in then and let off both energy and steam, perhaps lay off the chillies for a day or so - and hang on for the r--I--d--e ... !!
