Re: My daughter named her new cat Oscar...ask me a question
When I was 4 I named a black cat honky.

I thought it was cute...like the song Honky Tonk Girl that I liked to play on my little record player.

Did not understand why the adults tried to talk me out of it.

Do hegehogs make good pets?

I got to see Oscar for the first time today when I drove into the city to take her out for a Valentine's lunch. He sniffed my show and ran off!

It's a pound kitty she got at Pet Smart during their adoption day. He is all white with a little gray patch on its head. He was a late summer kitty and is six months old so it almost full grown. He's fixed and has had his shots, so that's a great deal for the $50-75 they charge. Cats are good company if you live in the city.

LOL No, but I'm sure he would like to eat one -- she says he has a big appetite.

Any comments about Oscar Peterson here? I really admire a person who knows his/her way around a keyboard like this. Wouldn't you know that my daughter's favorite movie scene is the piano dual from Legend of 1900 (also her favorite movie and one of my favorites as well).

not really, they are nocturnal so u are bothering them by playing with them all day (which is what ALL my classmates did when i brought it to school)

and i live in a northern environment so i think the cold got to him..

only lived like 2 years

if you want one make sure u have a basement where it can stay up all night without bothering you and try to only play with it when it is awake..

they are cool looking though, and if it smells something it likes, it licks it and then spits on its back to try and hold the smell..

funniest thing!

It's only 36 degrees up here by Helen. We never did get any snow today, and just a slight sprinkle of rain. Just watch - the roads will be wet and they will call off school again tomorrow because it might turn to ice. :)
