If Azazel and Semjaza are the same as Gog and Magog then Dudael must be near wadi el Gharby and the valley of the Apes, just south west of the valley of the kings in Upper Egypt.

Do you mean the great pyramids of Giza? Because these pyramids are located at Lower Egypt.

I tend to agree with the Great Pyramid theory. In the Melchizedek tradition, if Azazel didn't end up in it's general vincinity, there sould be a thread associated with sacred geometry.

"pointed stones" = "PYRAMIDS"

The area is now called Beth Chaduda and is where the scapegoat(azazel) was released.

The dudael desert seems to be in fact : Umm el-Qaab, the king Djet tomb, in Egypt.

Dudael is not in Egypt! It is east of Jerusalem. A little over half way thru Dr. Martin's article, [link to askelm.com] He describes the "Place of the scapegoat".

Dudael is referring to the Great Desert. It's meaning is literally God's Crucible. There is only one place God ever called the Great Desert - dueteronomy 8:15 where it's called the great and terrible wilderness. Though many believe this is referring to the Sinai Penn. the Great Desert and the the place of the wandering of the children of Israel is the Arabian Desert. 'And thats a fact, Jack!!!! lol

Raphael was instructed to dig a hole in the desert, and then place rough and jagged rocks upon him (as a marker) after covering the hole.

Upper Egypt is the strip of land in southern Egypt, on both sides of the Nile valley, that extends between Nubia, and downriver (northwards) to Lower Egypt.

Thus, Upper Egypt is located South, while Lower Egypt is located North.

I believe the desert of Dudael is the Nubian Desert. And the place where Azazel is imprisoned is located specifically at the Nabta Playa.



There is a circular stone structure in this desert that is dated around 5th millennium BC and considered as one of the world's earliest known archeoastronomical devices (roughly contemporary to the Goseck circle in Germany and the Mnajdra megalithic temple complex in Malta). Research suggests that it may have been a prehistoric "calendar" marking the summer solstice.

best location to fit the description i have come across is Black Mountain. i know there is reference to mt. hermon and various places in jewish literature, etc., but they do not appear to reference those places as the pit in dudael. granted there are specific associations, but those associations are not specific to this specific event.

interesting that the aboriginals have a belief about the rainbow serpent associated with the mountain. azazel is also associated with serpent. yes it borders a rainforest/savanna in current times. savanna is arid and isn't a far stretch from desert. can anyone say with certainty what the climate in the region was at the time of the event? enoch is said to be 10,000 yrs past. how many more years did this actually occur before enoch was recorded?

i'm sure many will disagree and ridicule, but what do i care, none have shown any evidence of any location that truly fits without a shoehorn.
