Why couldn't the so called evidence from past-life regression simply be the result of knowledge from deceiving spirits that have lived for thousands of years and therefore know every detail of history as well as the life of the person regressed?

In terms of "evidence" you cannot really test whether or not my question is any less valid than your statements.

Unless of course you do not believe in spirits at all in which case the entire past-life regression scenario flys out the window.

My point is, when the physical world all around you clearly shows that you can't even trust tangible real human beings, why all of a sudden just because the topic switches over to the spirit realm "everything" is accepted "as is" without even the question of deceit popping up as to the source?
