Well, genius, let's see . . .

Yes, I've seen articles in pubmed about natural ways of doing things, but I've never heard a doctor talk about them. That's even worse, the knowledge is there but they won't use it because it isn't profitable enough.
 Quoting: Catseye 895544

No, no, no, you said there was no double blind study ever done with lysine therapy because it wasn't profitable enough. I'm sorry your doctor isn't informed enough to see through your bullshit, but I am. You can't hide behind the excuse that your "doctor didn't know." You're just plain full of crap.
You want to talk about cost benefit analysis? Like regarding harsh side effects? I'd like to see you go through the agony of some chemotherapy and see how you feel about "cost benefit" then.
 Quoting: Catseye

It's better than death. Don't bitch to me about the agony of it, I've watched family members suffer through it multiple times. Why the hell do you think we're looking for a non-toxic solution if we don't give a damn? Wait, don't answer that, I don't even want to know what you have to say. You've already shown me how dishonest you are.
How is my stating facts propoganda?
 Quoting: Catseye

Your "facts" are lies. Have a nice life.
What's so hard for you to understand when I say the medical profession is needed for crisis management but their chronic disease treatments are a scam? How is that bullcrap?
 Quoting: Catseye

I already explained it. I already gave you examples of chronic diseases cured by new methods, you ignored it because you're only interested in propaganda. You were lying about the lack of any double blind studies for your blessed "natural remedy" for herpes, and the double blind study showed no significant effect of lysine treatment. You're a liar and a sham.
So yes, maybe you are trying like hell to make the drug safe, but it's not the most effective treatment!
 Quoting: Catseye

Haha, bullshit, you have no idea what we're doing or how we're doing it, you're completely clueless about molecular biology, proteomics, genomics, and pharmacology. The drug we're developing for cancer IS safe by its nature. In fact, like many good drugs out there, it's derived from a natural biological product. We just took the part we needed and left of the parts that would be harmful in large doses.

Who cares how many hours you spend making a dangerous drug less dangerous? If I really wanted to know, I imagine I'd look it up.
 Quoting: Catseye

Wilfull ignorance is the worst kind. And when your option is "nasty side effect" or death, guess which I and the other 99% portion of the intelligent population will choose? Nasty side effect is right. Luckily, we're getting rid of even that and still you bitch. You do that, but you will have the deaths of the people who actually listen to your advice on your hands. I seem to recall one person who's mother listened to the anti-chemo advice on this site only to die as a result. Of course people like you claimed he was lying, but frankly the sad story doesn't surprise me at all.
And I have a friend who used to do these "tests", too. And what she told me is that they are given vials of substances and not told what they are. Plus they sign a myriad of nondisclosure agreements. So if a substance shows positive healing properties, they can't "leak" the identity of the substance. I guess that would put a sizable cut in some profits, depending on what drugs it could replace.
 Quoting: Catseye

Your friend is as clueless as you are. There are tons of publications espousing the benefits of certain natural chemicals like Resveratrol and other anti-oxidants. I've signed a non-disclosure agreement too, and for some experiments I'm not allowed to know which mouse received which drug, but none of it has to do with "covering up" the benefits of any natural substance.
Back to paragraph one. Who cares about genetic roots of disease if it's a food intolerance? Wheat and dairy are the most common, not just the lactose but the casein for dairy.
 Quoting: catseye

You handwave to the most ridiculous bullshit. Food intolerance did not cause blindness, and diet changes sure as hell didn't fix it. Adult stem cells taken from the patient did. But what am I saying, I might as well be talking to a brick f'ing wall. I'm done with you.
These are crisis situations, not chronic diseases!
 Quoting: catseye

A man who's blind for 40+ years isn't in a crisis situation genius, he's got a chronic problem. And diets sure weren't going to fix it.
You are looking for the MOST PROFITABLE best possible treatment or cure you can find.
 Quoting: catseye

BULLSHIT, DON'T TELL ME WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR, YOU HAVEN'T A CLUE! WE'RE LOOKING FOR WHATEVER WORKS BEST, NOT WHAT WORKS WORST SO WE CAN PROFIT OFF IT MORE!
Sorry about lysine, I didn't check pubmed. I guess that's another example of the knowledge being there but doctors not using it.
 Quoting: catseye

It's an example of you lying to my face. If ever you could be exposed, that was it right there. Have a nice life!
