advice from psychic
A friend of mine had a reading from a psychic who warned that they were being affected by an evil spirit. The psychic asked my friend to take a loaf of bread, break it in two, scoop out the inside rub on their stomach while praying for the evil to be removed. Replace the bread inside the loaf and return the loaf to the pychic so they could assist in removing the affects of the evil spirit. My friend found this a very odd request and is quite unsure whether to follow this request. Does anyone know whether this is genuine advice or there is any danger in following this?

Sounds unusual to say the least. Most "evil" spirits cannot be attached, bound or connected through bread in this way.

Tell your friend to get some holy water, rub it on themselves, fast and drink only the water. Pray for Archangel Michael to remove any and all negative attachments, energies, frequencies, evil, ect from home, and environment.

Re: advice from psychic
No not too unusual. Eggs are used in some tradition, wine in others - the idea is that the object becomes the individual (like Jesus transmuting wine into blood, bread into flesh).

Eggs are used by more rural folk-lore, bread by more settled (urban) folklore.

The notion is not so much that the spirit or entity actually attaches itself to the bread/egg/wine, but that the object manifests for the lack of a better word 'radiation' of the entity, from there the spell caster can attune to the radiation and "divine" what it is one is dealing with.

Objects are said to pick up these 'energies' or 'radiations'. Many psychics can pick up an object that was owned/worn by an individual and pick up data about that person. It is called "Psychometry" [link to www.ask.com]

It is possible that the psychic you are working with has the ability to read objects. Bread is a 'living' thing in that it has life within it, life does tend to pick up energies (radiations, vibrations, spirit power - whatever you want to call it) easier than something like a bit of metal or a stone.

Is there danger. Maybe.

It depends on what you are dealing with. There are many types of entities 'out there' most are just mischievous, like playing 'jokes' on the living as it were. Some are lost and are not aware of what they are doing. It is thought that ghosts (of the living passed on) fall mainly into this category where the process of transformation from a living entity to a spirit entity is not 100% complete, the 'soul' gets stuck between here and the hereafter.

The last, making up the smallest percent of actual cases, but those making up the most popularized and well known cases, are 'demonic' entities. Entities that have a pure malevolent intent, either because they do not like 'us' living, or because they are jealous or some other reason that we are unable to fathom.

If this is a malevolent entity, then chances are pretty high that it has been around for a very long time and has played similar games with countless other would be exorcists. Which means it is already prepared to play tricks, to use the devices and the tricks that a witch, priest or exorcist may think of to do more harm to the victim and those around the victim.

Being identified as a 'entity' may be its purpose and may lead to its wanting this psychic to go down this road, starting the process of opening the door for the entity to have more power over the victim and to terrorize those around the victim.

If this is the case then having the victim actively do something to incite or bring out the 'beast within' may have bad consequences.

The safest methods would be those where the victim does not 'actively' seek out the entity, instead s/he does passive things to trap the 'essence' of the entity while the psychic takes proper steps to but up protections and 'guards and wards' against the entity getting more power.

Mind you while this psychic may be calling upon 'accurate' data and means, they may not be actually what they think or claim they are.

Most of the real paranormal folk that really know there stuff do not call things 'evil'. They talk of negative and positive energies, malevolent and benign manifestations, they speak of entities not "spirits". The reason why such high-talk is used is to take power away from the entity and the effects the entity may have.

Couching things in a nice 'clinical' technical language calms the patient and takes the sting out of the whole situation. If this is a malevolent entity I assure you it feeds off the negative emotions generated by its presence. Calling it an 'Evil spirit' and talk that leads to the thought of 'possessions' are scare talks, they directly affect the victim in negative ways, giving power to the entity.

My Advice, DO NOT do the bread thing, seek out a second and a third opinion and more advice.

If a psychic really wants to know more about the entity in question there are a dozen or more techniques that are less questionably in the 21st century to bring to to bear, and many which are non-intrusive and are designed to keep any potential malevolent entity from acting out.

Re: advice from psychic
I'm not an expert, by any means.

IMHO - it is your belief in something that makes it work.

Not in all cases. But hear me out.

If you don't believe in God - how can you invoke him for protection? So it would depend upon your spiritual beliefs - as there are many paths.

My personal beliefs are a eclectic.

I do think people (including children) can open doors and things can use them. I do think unprotected people can be influenced. I especially think people under the influence of drugs or alcohol can attract the attention of lower astral entities.

I protect myself, my family and my home - with various prayers, visualizations, blessings and intention.

Personal responsibility - try it sometime. Quit blaming others for your bad choices. Consequences happen.

Re: advice from psychic
she probably told another client to do the same thing with a sirloin steak, a different one to do the same thing with some baked potatoes, and another one to do it with a pan of brownies.

Great way to get yourself a nice home-cooked meal for free!

LOL!

Scam. Trying to show that you've been "cleansed" of evil spirits by making it appear the evil spirits are now trapped inside the dirty water or discolored bread, etc. Old scam from societies that still harbor a lot of suspicions about evil spirits.

Re: advice from psychic
I am a pyschic and I think this is complete bullshit. First of all I dont believe in curses and if you realize that its all in your own mind you will be fine. Its almost like you tell yourself your cursed and then you believe you own lie or someone elses.

I have had several clients come to me scared to death from these con artists that tell them this bs and they either have to buy a candle to break the curse or some other made up spellbreaker usually costing them quite a bit of money.

Dont believe it. If you need to hear it from a pyschic go to tanother one and see if they tell you the same thing. My guess is you will completely different information.

Remember you should never walk away from a reading scared if you do thats a sure sign they are trying to rip you off.

If you send me an email. (below) I will put you in touch with a psychic who will give a free evaluation and if there is a dark entity he can simply remove it and bind it far away so it will not be back in this lifetime.
