OP... yur FUCKED. Welcome to my world. they can and WILL take 67% of your check until you are caught up. NY state is natoriously Ruthless with past due support. In the beginning when I owed like bunch of money cus it took a year for the court to get the paperwork sent in, they were even going to take my boat from me. I had to sign it over to my dad. Then to add salt to injury I started payments ( this was 4 years ago ) and My EX and I are still friends we hang out all the time so shes like Im still not getting any money on my card... Come to find out the state of NY HOLDS that money for 90 days to earn intrest on it. So the payments she gets today, I made 3 months ago...
