I used to love watching televangelist preach about how Jesus snatched the keys from the crooked hand of Satan himself, but could never find the scriptures in the Bible, and always wondered if what they said was true. The following are the only verses in the Bible making the claim that Jesus holds the keys of death and Hades, but not that Jesus confronts Satan.
(18) I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
In truth Hades is the grave. For Jesus to claim he holds these keys he had to have confronted Satan to snatch them away because the New Testament tells us that Satan once held these keys of death and Hades.
(14) Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--
The Devil once possessed these keys, but the Bible makes no reference to when and where Jesus receives them. You would think that such a monumental event would be written. Well, it was, only latter removed. Below are scriptures that prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus did actually come face to face with the Devil himself after the crucifixion.

Jesus on the fifth
13 -- Now that which he revealed unto us is this, which he spake: It came to pass when I was about (minded) to come hither from the Father of all things, and passed through the heavens, then did I put on the wisdom of the Father, and I put on the power of his might. I was in heaven, and I passed by the archangels and the angels in their likeness, like as if I were one of them, among the princedoms and powers. I passed through them because I possessed the wisdom of him that had sent me. Now the chief captain of the angels, [is] Michael, and Gabriel and Uriel and Raphael followed me unto the fifth firmament (heaven)
Jesus was escorted to the fifth heaven by the Captains.
At this point you are probably wondering; WTF -- "that's heaven dude!" Well, the fifth heaven is where Satan was the Covenant of the LORD (BoE) was the first book of the Bible and confirms this, only latter removed.
Secrets of Enoch ~ Chapter 18

Of the taking of Enoch on to the fifth heaven
1 -- The men took me on to the fifth heaven and placed me, and there I saw many and countless soldiers, called Grigori, of human appearance, and their size was greater than that of great giants and their faces withered, and the silence of their mouths perpetual, and their was no service on the fifth heaven, and I said to the men who were with me:
2 -- Wherefore are these very withered and their faces melancholy, and their mouths silent, and wherefore is there no service on this heaven?
3 -- And they said to me: These are the Grigori, who with their prince Satanail rejected the LORD of light
Their prince Satanail. The confirming verses below puts to rest that Satan was fastened in the fifth heaven, where Jesus ended-up facing him.
Secrets of Enoch ~ Chapter 7
1 -- And those men took me and led me up on to the second heaven, and there I saw prisoners hanging, watched, awaiting the great and boundless judgment,
2 -- And I said to the men who were with me: Wherefore are these incessantly tortured?
They answered me: These are Godís apostates, who obeyed not Godís commands, and turned away with their prince, who also is fastened on the fifth heaven.
