In my understanding, they have a legal right to drill because the Falklands are legally British. The Argentinians have no right to those islands just because they are close to Argentina. Those islands have always been under British rule. If their oil wells are inside their waters proximate to the islands then they have a legal right to drill. Why do they need us to support their legal rights? Legal rights don't have anything to do with U.S. opinions or support. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 868991You mean a British war against Iran don't you? Who do you believe is really calling the shots? The Falkland ruse means we are supposed to believe that Obama is standing up to the Zionists. There is more to it but I am not buying a schism. The world is poised for destruction. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 876768I'm high and all that but I'm pretty sure South America has nowhere near 32 nations. |

I'd love to see him get the bitch smack he's deserved for a while now. Quoting: PhantomLordNYCYou know I think Chavez is doing this to get pussy. He likes to play the bad guy. Buying weapons from Russia. Saying a lot of bad ass things. Saber rattling. I don't think he has any real evil intent. Time magazine even listed him in their Top 100 influential people. He was also a career military officer. Not the kind of person to be evil. Military guys are fall in line types. He puts on a good show, but he is no Ahmednijad either. He plays a fanatic, and it works to his advantage, but I don't think he is a true fanatic. He even fought against tyranny, in leading a coup against a gov't that killed between a few hundred and a couple thousand of his countrymen. |

Argentina invades the Malvinas, the UK takes on Argentina, and then Chavez attacks the US for quietly sending ammo and intel to the UK... and Chavez's plane is shot down over a jungle, which is then incinerated by a huge fireball - bodies are recovered, and dental exams reveal El Dictator Chavez has pulled a Che Guevara and has been roasty roasty. Nice plan. I like it. Let's do this .... |

Munchaab User ID: 876569 United Kingdom 02/25/2010 09:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last time Argentina 'flexed' its 'muscles' the UK did't even call it a WAR it was a CONFLICT! The last time David Milliband spoke any sense was when he said "mommy my potty is full - and so are my ears!" The last time the British Government made any advances in the global scale was when they refused the promise of a vote on the EU Treaty (sorry they re-named it a ham-burger). The last time the UK needed the backing of the US was when Lehman Sachs went down (pesky RockerChilds and their petulant ways)! The last time UK declared a 'Terror threat' was when Gordrone Braun shut down the Icelandic economy (oh yes those scary IcelandSavers!). The last time the UK needed a 'think tank' was - ahh wait ?think? ?tank? - gold fish live in tanks? so do Russians? and politicians? ? ? I'm not so sure the UK (Gov.t)really gives a toss about Obama's backing on this as it is well understood in the UK that HE is 'not natural born' and 'Skull and Cross Bones' - by Proxy? I once heard Barracks say that he had visited (I think) 57 states just 1 more to go - except Alaska and Hawaii? So at least he is more 'clued up' than UK politicians - they can't even get their shopping bill to tally enough for them not to get lynched by the people! I want the use of ALL of my brain!
