Quoting: Anonymous Coward 212949McDonalds hamburgers always have greasy fingerprints all over the wrapper. Can't even touch the wrapper cause it's too nasty. And the dirty/nasty hoodlum taking out the trash or sweeping the parkinglot are just a glimpse of why the food preparation is so bad. Slapped together, lop sided, greasy fingerprint burgers. BurgerKing always smells like old grease.. especially their breakfast foods. Weinersnitzel has the worst hotdog meat in the world. Tastes like meat flavored papermache. If you're going to specialize in dogs, they should be the best in town... but their meat sucks. TacoBell use to be my favorite, but about 10 years ago their ground beef starting tasting like shit. can't even smell their tacos without wanting to yak. And most every place has low-life scum in dirty clothes making and serving the food. I've left more than one place after getting a look at the staff. Like they went down to the ghetto and take dirty nasty losers off the street to come make the food. I'd gladly pay double for burgers served by clean, respectful, highschool kids like back in the 70's When I was a kid, McDonalds and others only hired clean-cut kids, with good grades. Made them wear clean uniforms, and had a completely different feel. chik-fil-a is ran by christian fundies fuck them. |

I only lasted about 6 months. I'm surprised that the chicken was bad because we used to use high pressure fryers back then, but that may have changed as I have recently learned that they no longer get regular shipments of fresh ground beef and patty them at the store. Now they get it shipped frozen. I think that makes a difference. BTW, if you ever do go back and want a burger be sure to ask for "no chili meat". We used to keep a bucket next to the grill where dried out patties would go for use in the chili. You can only slather on grease with a spatula so much on them to make them stay "Hot n Juicy". One reason I never did well there is that they wanted me to constantly bug people to do things they were already doing. Basically they wanted me to ride herd on people and I'm not like that. On top of that I was expected to hang out with the rest of the managers at the local sports bar all the time. Not my scene either. They were only paying me a dollar an hour more than the crew so I wasn't too sorry when they let me go. Interesting inside info, there, Doc! |

But like everything else it goes down the drain shortly after, Wendy's burgers used to be 25% bigger. Now they are not much larger than a White Castle. None of the worldwide fast puck are worth a damn. Local or regional only, Jake's in Delaware voted #1 in state. Best shakes, real and not does not use an aerator to create bulk but no weight. |

You can find good locations and bad ones in just about every chain. There's a Wendy's near me that has really good food. I love their chicken fillet sandwich and the fries are always crisp. For those who like Wendy's chili, here's how to make it yourself. It freezes well in one or two serving containers. [link to www.copykat.com] |

How else do you think they have a dollar menu? Keep your overhead low and you can get away with dollar menu pricing. Personally, I wish they would get away from the cheap shit and charge $12.00 a combo meal and have REAL FOOD again. But the masses want their quick and easy food for super cheap so... you get what you pay for. |

They did at one time have a really good hamburger. The last time I went, I overspent for their new bacon burger. The bacon must had been thrown out by Denny's that morning and picked out of the garbage by a Wendy's employee. The tomato was green and the lettuce brown. Since I was "starving", I ate it...but felt ashamed and used afterwards. |

Quoting: The Gale WolfI was in their drive thru, feeling compassionate enough to give them another chance for their miserable failure from last time. Boy what a mistake that was. I was told to wait 5 minutes for my sandwich at the window, and then she told me I'm better off waiting inside. I mean, what the fuck! It's pouring out, that's the reason I'm not inside. So I end up going inside and waiting 5 minutes for my meal. They give it to me...in 2 bags. I got a bag of medium fries and then right after, a bag with the actual chicken sandwich. Yeah, thanks a lot retards. The chicken was pretty bad too, tasted like plastic. I'm pretty sure they were trying to dumb me down with petrochemicals or other industrial agents. Well, they failed. That's two strikes and they have one more, should I decide to be compassionate again. Driving through all this shit in new england is also a big pain, you can't see any pot holes cause they're filled with water, so sometimes when you're driving by a small puddle, SLAM! But that's besides the point. I'm drinking alcohol to try to break down all the cooking oil that I ingested. It's probably the best thing to do right now. At least that open mic comedy was good at the bar tonight... I feel so much better when I eat good stuff.
