People can believe that if they want. I do not find the belief offensive, just very unwise. However, I do take very strong offense at Christians who believe in the pre or mid-trib rapture who criticize other Christians who do not hold this belief. We should not argue about this. We have far more important things to concern ourselves with like, hey, The Good News. |

Jerichofall (OP) User ID: 16493366 Australia 11/22/2012 07:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It should bother us that the pre-trib rapture was a theology put together by 33rd degree Mason John Nelson Darby. Have a look at this: Pre-tribulation rapture theology was developed in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby and the Plymouth Brethren,[9] and popularized in the United States in the early 20th century by the wide circulation of the Scofield Reference Bible.[10] As there was no Christian teaching of a “rapture” before Darby began preaching about it in the 1830s[citation needed], he is sometimes credited with originating the "secret rapture" theory wherein Christ will suddenly remove His bride, the Church, from this world before the judgments of the tribulation. Some claim that this book was the origin of the idea of the "rapture." Dispensationalist beliefs about the fate of the Jews and the re-establishment of the Kingdom of Israel put dispensationalists at the forefront of Christian Zionism, because "God is able to graft them in again," and they believe that in His grace he will do so according to their understanding of Old Testament prophecy. They believe that, while the ways of God may change, His purposes to bless Israel will never be forgotten, just as He has shown unmerited favour to the Church, He will do so to a remnant of Israel to fulfill all the promises made to the genetic seed of Abraham. [link to www.macquirelatory.com] Remember - as in the days of Noah - Noah and his family were the only ones left on the earth, not taken away. The wicked were taken. Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: Ruth 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. |

Keep in mind, being kept from evil can and does mean being protected here on earth, not taken in to outer space or heaven. I hope that makes sense, and I think for a lot of us we've actually seen that happen, either in small or large doses. Praise out Father, many need prayers. Take up your cross and be ready for tribulation. The meek will inherit the earth, as will the saints. God did not make the earth for the wicked, but for His children. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. It's the opposite of what you're thinking. Look up the Greek that is used in the original scriptures. I studied this a while back, and the truth is in the rapture of the righteous, but it does not happen until the 7th trump. You're on the wrong track my brother, similar to your thoughts about Paul being a false apostle. That is also incorrect. The righteous taken out of harms way. 1 Thess. 4;15-18 |

Same thing will happen at the 7th trump. The earth is going to be destroyed by fire. We will be taken out before that happens, same as Lot. In the days of Noah, the earth was not destroyed, just flooded. It's going to be completely different in the end. There will be a new earth because the old one will be burned. |
