Quoting: Jake from what I have been reading China is building an amphibious Navy/Military faster than Japan did in the lead up to WW2. They are definitely working on it, but how good are they, do you think? Haven't fought a major war in a very long time, no officers or NCO with combat experience. There are many factors but like I said, I'm praying for peace. Chinas military may be untested but I still wouldn't really want to find out how good they are unless I had to. Well much like the Korean war, China literally has hundreds of millions of fighting age men, and the Chinese government considers them all expendable for the greater cause. I wouldn't want to fight them unless I had to. They must look like a horde of locusts on the battlefield. Right...and that's what they did with North Korea. If the US went to war with China, you're not going to see boots on the ground -there's no land connecting us. It will be a major aerial/sea conflict.
