I think Trump should investigate America's use of the British GCHQ in US spying in general, and in specific-- in spying on the opposing party of a foreign government (i.e. Trump).

Congress needs to pass a law regarding the use of such foreign intelligence information in the context of an election.

Obama is not shielded if the content of the wire taps were given him during daily intel briefing. He is still spying on his political adversary during a campaign regardless. The CIA subcontracted the wire tapping. Shouldn't make a difference.

Good point-- but it would have to be proven --- and a conversation in the daily briefing might be difficult to prove if there is no paper trail or record of the conversation.

The British could have agreed to do surveillance on Trump Tower on the basis of an informal conversation with an Obama subordinate-- and if so--- there would be no record or paper trail.

Plausible deniability is what these guys do.
