Why do they keep repeating "More Drugs Come Through Legal Checkpoints" ?????

because oilfield equipmrnt is exempt from searches and thats how the drugs are smuggled in.bush set it up that way for his nazi buddies.

Republicans are stumped/cornered by this statement.

Exactly! Even the Coast Guard will state that for every major bust they make at least two other shipments get through. While we're on talking points, Every reporter kept asking "what emergency at the boarder, illegal crossings are down". However they are fine with the idea of declaring an emergency for gun ownership even though gun violence incidents are down.

They repeat this because it's a canard that can't be proved false.

FACT: Drugs are seized at legal ports of entry. The huge porous border with no one there to seize drugs rarely make drug busts. It's almost axiomatic.

I'm all for the wall and all it represents, but word on the street is most of the problem is at the checkpoints.

Crooked border guards taking coyote money to let busloads through, etc.

How would you know what data to compare to? With crossings going unchecked the crimes being committed could be 100 times worse we would never know because they pass unchecked.

What if a terrorist group decided to bring in weapons (bombs/virus,etc.) through the unsecured border - who would be responsible for that - under who's watch would that occur?

Trump needs to build that wall FAST!!
