I feel like now would be a time Iran might take some offensive action. Netanyahu is scrambling to finish forming his government even after he was granted an extended time period. May just stepped down so the UK is now in a transitioning period. The US more an more military assets every day in the region. I think that the time we see actual war in the region is here. Hopefully the United States doesn't get too aggressive and does not have it's finger on the trigger.

Talking with Washington is akin to talking with the devil, a senior official with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said, downplaying the US military presence in the region as the “weakest in history.”

Before President Trump, I'd tend to agree. But with the President attempting to wipe away all the evil, corrupt XENOMORPHS dug in like an Alabama tick, I believe we have a real chance at peaceful negotiations and outcome.

Unless the fucking XENOMORPH bastages pull a False Flag pussy-move. A 'Deadman's Switch' of sorts.

It is quite amusing when you think about it.

Trump and his supporters, are supporting the motherland of Islam in attacking one of their oldest enemies.
I would feel like a donkeys ass.
Of course, all presidents have been doing this.

Well, if you did not like the US government during the last 100 years you should really LOVE President Trump.

As he is battling those who made those choices back then.

Funny how that works. Iran should love President Trump. But then if Iran is full of anger

The whole situation is ironic, really, in that Iran, at one time, had the most successful democracy in the entire middle east (until the USA destroyed it.) Fully civilized, female doctors, women driving cars, etc. The pictures of the era look idyllic.

BUT, the Iranians, democracy though they may have been, refused to kowtow to the Americans. So America replaced the democracy. With Islamists.

We still have civilized people, female doctors and women driving. You have your facts wrong. You've mixed us up with Saudi Arabia, which in fact is your ally and women are banned driving and they are treated as slaves. It's all geopolitics, U.S doesnt want to bring democracy they want to destablize the mid east even more so they can sell more weapons to their allies which are funding ISIS and AL Qaeda.

It was also my understanding that after the coup, rule under the shah was very bad, Islamic, and reversed much of the progress. This is what I meant by "civilized" -- laws and guaranteed freedoms, versus iron rule by a shah.

Is this incorrect?

Yes. Mohammad Mossadegh was a beloved figure in Iran. He broke off negotiations and denied the British any further involvement in Iran's oil industry because they had controlled Iran's oil for decades through the Anglo-Iranian Oil Co. CIA overthrow Mossadegh and restored power to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran. He truly was a dictator. That's why the people fought back and overthrew him

Iranian frozen assets in international accounts are calculated to be worth between $100 billion[1][2] and $120 billion.[3][4] Almost $1.973 billion of Iran's assets are frozen in the United States.[5] According to the Congressional Research Service, in addition to the money locked up in foreign bank accounts, Iran's frozen assets include real estate and other property. The estimated value of Iran's real estate in the U.S. and their accumulated rent is $50 million.[1] Besides the assets frozen in the U.S., some parts of Iran's assets are frozen around the world by the United Nations.

I shouldn’t say Iran, which includes the people of Iran. I mean the current leaders of Iran. You would be hard pressed to find any American that has issues with Iranians.

Your current leadership is hell bent on the destruction of America. It isn’t worthy of respect. Honesty, integrity and trustworthy is not the agenda of your leaders.
