Ok, not really a long winded rant, like the ones I usually write out, but still a rant.
What NASA needs to do is take Obama, Biden, Pelosi and all their little friends and put them into a Space Shuttle.
They get their training, and all their little gagets and gizmos, and get launched into space. For a few days, they get to jump around, and play in their space-toy, full of their friends, and family. They'll get to have a great week up there if the oxygen will allow it.
On the day of their return, NASA will send them a Text message reading, "Sorry, we can not bring you back, you cut our budget." and turn off the communications to the shuttle.
Two birds with one stone, NASA employees get to have some fun, and we get rid of the most dangerous people running our government. A few emergency elections, and a funeral later and we have our nation back.
I mean this as a joke, but if someone does do this I wouldn't mourn the loss.
