What would GLP have looked like on historic days of the pre-internet age?

[quote:Atheist:MV8xMDc3MzYzXzE3MTM0NDE3X0YyNzdBRTI5] GLP is the bum on the street corner who mumbles to himself. GLP is the bag lady, or the guy who collects tin cans. That woman who lives across the street who has 30 cats. Its the militia on the outskirts of town or the guy in the trailer who has a 12ft Satellite dish, the 50ft tall HAM antenna, solar panels and windmills everywhere. [/quote]
I've been thinking about this for a while, but it is interesting to wonder what threads would have been on GLP's front page on historic days of the past. I'm thinking days like 2nd September 1939 (the day before WW2 was declared), the day of the Roswell incident ("I am the Roswell alien, ask me a question" comes to mind lol), during the Cuban Missile Crisis, etc.
