[quote:Anonymous Coward 186233:MV8xMDgzMzRfNTk5MDQwMl8zNjBGMDBGNA==] [quote:Anonymous Coward 18251] Prayer Alert Robin P Hey Guys; I am sending out a quick prayer alert/request regarding a dream I had early this morning about tainted baby food. I heard the name 'Enlow' 'cover our babies in prayer' and I then I heard 'from dog food to baby food' then a picture of baby food being tainted with poison. When I woke up I kept hearing 'protect the innocent.' Very recently in the news we know that many people have lost their pets due to tainted dog food, so let us just cover our babies world wide in prayer. I do not know what the name Enlow has to do with babies or baby food but felt led to include the whole dream. Blessings, Robin P
This was posted on the board today: Green consumerism: Getting the rat poison out of the baby food by Gar Lipow at 2:56 PM on 02 Apr 2007 No, as far as I know, no baby-food maker ever used rat poison as an ingredient. The point is that we don't have to worry about it; if you have an infant switching off milk, you can shop the baby food counter confident that none of the choices will contain rat poison. However, as a consumer, buying "green" is not quite so easy. Hastening the end of our civilization is a routine ingredient in most of the things we buy. By spending a little extra time and money, we can sometimes find alternatives that don't contribute to our society's destruction -- though often not. If baby food routinely contained micro doses of arsenic, of course you would go out of your way to buy uncontaminated versions for your child. But you would also recognize that we should not allow baby food to include anything so toxic in the first place. [link to gristmill.grist.org]
