[quote:Anonymous Coward 0:MV8xMTU5NThfMjk3NzczMF81Qzk2MzdBOA==] "[Brutus] can make Olive Oyl love him, and they can become a happy couple." I can´t believe your interpretation of Popeye is so trivial. Brutus just wants a piece of ass, he doesn´t care about love. [/quote]
Original Message
Popeye is one of my favorite cartoons. However, several questions have arisen over the years that have disturbed me. They are:
Does anyone here know what the spiritual meaning of the conflict between Popeye and Brutus?
Why does Brutus change his name to Bluto?
Why are Popeye´s arms swollen?
Is Sweet Pea a boy or a girl? And, whose the father?
Why are Popeye and Brutus so attracted to the twig, Olive? Does being on a ship so long warp your vision?
Why is Wimpy always hanging around?
