Original Message Thomas Magill, a 22-year-old student, apparently attempted to end his life by jumping off a high-rise building on the West Side of Manhattan yesterday, only to survive by landing on a 2008 Dodge Charger parked 39 floors below.

He crashed through the roof the Dodge Charger and landed in the backseat of the car. The speed of his falling at the moment of the impact with the car was almost 140 kmp (87 mph).
