[quote:Anonymous Coward 1003981:MV8xMjE2NDgwXzE5NzgwMjMxXzEzNzA3MTAy] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1111128] BULLSHIT! you are actually trying to tell me that EVERY worker on the planet should be self employed? :wtf: what sort of society would THAT lead to? :1rof1: you're deluded. all of you that think like this. i'm sorry. why dont you think about that for a while. actually think. or have you been embittered by financial slavery so long you have forgotton the noble art of independant thought. let me help you. start with a society of 100 people. you pick th eskill-sets, ages, abilities. (not 100 stephen hawkings) now expand. and expand some more. getting there? what?? are you ACTUALLY saying that every single worker in the USA, or the UK, or wherever, can REALISTICALLY be a self employed, successful entrepreneur? really? i can expand. really, i can. [/quote] you use the term entrepreneur. i deduce there fore your vison of self-employment to be one of glrious, quickly gained affluence. it is attainable, desirable, for every person to work in a capacity that does not have them directly employed by, or subserviant to another. it is massively unlikely, all the more so for every person who is as blinkered as yourself. Why are 90% of the people in the West perfectly content to be wage slaves?
What happened to the entrepreneur's spirit?
I've been self employed most of my life. I have taken employee positions a few times, briefly, when times were tight, but I hated every single minute of it.
I can't imagine being happy working for someone else my entire life.
