[quote:Anonymous Coward 1131852:MV8xMjI0MTY0XzE5OTE2ODgxXzMwNjExRDNF] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1035843] Lol because of the restrictions of political correct war, america cannot use the real weapons. Flame throwers and phosphorus to burn out caves, carpet bombing napalm..... All not political correct but incredible usefull
Hah! some slightly more nasty weapons. Yes very not-pc. Its incredible how un-serious modern people are about prosecuting war. Even 200 years ago all trade into and out of Afghanistan would have been blockaded. No food imports. And all food stores in-country would have been removed or destroyed and the civilians left to fend for themselves. Mass die-off used to be a normal part of conflict, because that was part of the process of subjugation and destruction of the enemy, in english the term was "to lay waste". The Afghanistan thing is a show - televised propaganda, not a real fight. If PTB ever actually get serious over there we won't know about it, the media will be censored.
Troops 'overwhelmed and cannot defeat Taliban'

THE Taliban have ''overwhelmed'' foreign troops and cannot be defeated by military means, one of Australia's top combat soldiers has warned.
Brigadier Mark Smethurst says securing Afghanistan could take decades, but success is uncertain without a fundamental change in strategy.
His critical assessment comes in a report that contrasts sharply with federal government claims of progress in Afghanistan.
