[quote:Ohio Dude:MV8xMjU3MDAxXzIwNTA2NDYyXzIyN0FCOEYz] Thanks for the inputs. I'm also diabetic so I can't do many bananas. But I will try the rest of the ideas, especially exercise. While on lexapro you have no gumption, you can't exercise or finish projects, but my BP was a steady 120/75. It's not worth it of course. Now I'm doing a dozen projects at the same time. First goal is to go from 210 pounds down to 180. 180 is perfect for my body frame and heigth. And seriously, the best BP temporary lowering activity is playing with my dogs on the floor. Sometimes puppies are the best medicine. [/quote]
Original Message
Some quack doc put me on Lexapro for high blood pressure a couple years back. I'm still going thru withdrawal after a month. Went cold turkey. It may be part of the withdrawal symptoms but my blood pressure just now was 170 over 105. Earlier today it was 160 over 102. These numbers are not unusual for me since I started monitoring 2 weeks ago.
So, what's the secret to lowering my BP? Chamomile tea? Cannabis? No more pills for me.
