Original Message I know diesel engines don't mind 3% kerosene because that is what we call in Australia alpine diesel. I also know you can mix it in higher ratios like 50/50 but diesel engines don't like it.

I use kerosene for lighting and cooking and it would be nice to be able to use it in the car sometimes if there is no diesel handy.
