Richmond, VA -- A 21-year old Charlottesville, Virginia man removed all his clothing except his underwear Thursday while undergoing a security check at Richmond International Airport.
Police say Aaron Tobey told them he was protesting airport security procedures.
Tobey had also written a reference to the Constitution's 4th Amendment protections against unreasonable search and seizure on his chest. He was briefly detained by Richmond airport police and federal authorities.
Police said Tobey was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and allowed to go on his way. However, he is required to return to Richmond for a court appearance January 10th.
Police say Tobey is a student at the University of Cincinnati.
