or True North would be 23.5° from the Magnetic Pole.

Just like the Moon has a circular orbit tilted around Earth.

So do the Planets and Earth have this orbital tilt around the Sun.

The observable proof
(seeing is believing)
is the following:
During the Equinox seasons, the SUN rises EAST, sets WEST, and NORTH is perpendicular to the sun's shadow line.

If Earth's axis was tilted during Equinox 23.5° like on the link. The sun couldn't rise east and set west.

The sun would rise south-east and set north-west
(2nd pic)
during Equinox because of this alleged 23.5° Pinocchio tilt. But in reality the earth axis is completely vertical and the sun rises east and sets west like on the 1st pic.

You see, everyone straightens out their shit during Equinox.

And with reason. For the sun to rise east like all living breathing thinking humans attest and witness every Equinox, the earth's axis must be straighten out, vertical.

As the sunlight hits the side of earth's sphere facing the SUN, the spinning vertical axis of earth will cause the illusion that the SUN is rising EAST and setting WEST.

You see folks, The Earth follows a tilted orbital path around The Sun.

The Path evens out during the Equinox seasons and we see the sun rise east and set west. But during the winter season in North America the earth is at the Aphelion end of the orbital path with its vertical axis (no tilt) and the sun is lower to our position on the spherical earth and we see the sun rising south-east and setting south-west.

When its our summer season the earth has traveled to the opposite end at the Perihelion side of its orbit and the sun is higher to our geographical location and we are also receiving more direct sunlight while spinning on a vertical axis.
