Anyone else from around here hear this??? [/quote] I am in Chch and the same thing happened here on Friday. I thought it was jet boats or something at first. But it was almost dark and it went on and on and on. I went and told my husband and he said "plane" and went back in. But was only outside for like 10 seconds. about an hour later it was STILL going on (may have quit briefly) and it was FULLY dark about 10 pm he had to listen and go outside and was like WTF??? it sounded a bit like niagara falls was just out of sight or jet engines or ?????????????? and I have seen all of these weird postings about rumblings and such I have heard this shit with my own ears now.
