There were many anti-nuclear protests in the United States which captured national public attention during the 1970s and 1980s. These included the well-known Clamshell Alliance protests at Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant and the Abalone Alliance protests at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, where thousands of protesters were arrested. Other large protests followed the 1979 Three Mile Island accident.[1]

I was there, I protested - when I was young.

Today you all have a perfectly good reason to be scared shitless and to be out there raging against those nuclear power-plants in your back yard.

So where are you 20 and 30 somethings?

I hear plenty of bitching and complaining about us Baby Boomers having 'made a bad world' Yet when push comes to shove you kids just sit there picking your noses.

Impress me and EARN the right to call the baby boomers losers.

Get your asses up and out and protest, rally, riot if you need be. Get those damned plants closed before they break down and kill you and your kids.

Don't expect 65+ year olds to do all the work. This is your time your challenge. Rise to the occasion.
