First of all, I hate the term "reverse" racism. Racism is racism, there's no "reverse" to it.
That being said, there has been a bunch of threads over race issues lately and this one is more a matter of curiosity for me.
I'm not going to use any politically correct terms, I'm just saying "black" and "white."
Black people here claim that white people are racist. I'm not going to pretend like that's not true, but my question is: how many of you have personally had a physical confrontation with a white person who treated you openly bad to your face because of your race.
To clarify; how many of them have made it CLEAR that it was over your race and not over another issue. That you knew without a doubt, because it was either SAID or because they used a derogatory name, and not because you just assumed it was about your race.
The reason I'm asking: I have NEVER been openly mean to someone because of their race, neither has anyone I know while I was around. However, I have MANY examples of being treated poorly by black people because I am white, where they have SAID it was because I am white. This isn't an every day occurrence, so I don't want to skewer any perceptions, but I have at least a dozen examples of it happening to me.
So....Thoughts? Examples?
