THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WITHIN YOU AND ALL AROUND YOU
The current paradigm:
Most people today seem to think 'heaven' is an actual 'place' that perhaps exists in another dimention; a place where your consciousness goes after you die--a place that you have the ability to gain experiences after death. A dwelling place for 'spirits' (who are assumed to be conscious on the level or above the level of human beings)
The Truth
The current concept of heaven, described above, was not present in Egyptian, Sumerian, Hittite, Hebrew, Greek, Roman or other religions spanning 5,000BC to around the era of 100AD. The ENGLISH word HEAVEN has simply been RE-DEFINED through the superstition and folklore of the simple, uneducated people of the Dark-Ages, especially europe. There is NO WORD in Hebrew/Phonecian that is an equivilant to the english word 'heaven' there is only a words for "sky" and "the heights".
The Greeks Knew
The gospel of Mark, Luke and John, written in Greek, use the words KINGDOM OF GOD (Basileia tou Theou), the Greek used the words Theo, Theou, and Theos as the words for GOD, but what do these words MEAN? Was the word Theo carry the exact same definition as the Hebrew YHWH? Why would the Greeks be saying Theo when they believed in MANY 'gods' and their 'supreme' god was ZEUS?
THEOS/HEAVEN/KINGDOM OF GOD is the realm of conceptual information. It is the invisible realm which governs over our realm, this realm (theo) is not made up of physical entities, it is the realm of the laws of mathematics, thermodynamics, philosophy, economics, sociology, theology, etc...
What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the fouls of the air perched in its branches.
The above scripture is a single phrase which contains a truth of ALL THINGS. And speaks on 3 levels:
1. The physical universe began as something similar to a seed (a tiny mustard seed)
2. All life in the universe begins as a seed
3. The revelation of THEOS (all things/GOD) begins as a seed of information planeted into the mind of a human.
Note: The fouls/birds of the air are a symbol of the angels/demons, great spirits/mechanisms driven only by instinct (a universal law). Birds nest in the branches, feed on it's fruits, and spread the seeds via natural mechanisms. These spirits can be clean or unclean but they serve their purpose, just as the birds on earth do...
The language of prophecy uses this same language of the Kingdom of GOD.
Revelation 8
10 Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Here are the symbols and their meanings:
A Great Star: An important revelation of knowledge
Fell from Heaven: Came out of the mystery realm of the laws of the universe and became understood by men
Burning like a Torch: Shining like the light of truth
1/3 of Rivers: Rivers are religious doctrines
1/3 of springs of water: The springs are where the rivers originate
Wormwood: a bitter plant that is hard to swallow but cures stomach parasites
here is my paraphrase:
And the third warning sign appeared: a great revelation was revealed unto mankind, appearing like the light of truth, and it entered 1/3 of all religious doctrines as well as their sources, the attributes of this doctrine/theology are most similar to the attributes of a plant that is known for it's bitter taste. And many men died (via spiritual parasites) because the doctrine was too hard to accept and bear.
Note: Technically there are many heavens, each human has their own heaven, each animal, each blade of grass, each grain of sand, the earth itself, our solar system...
HEAVEN IS THE 'REALM' OF LAWS WHICH GOVERN THE MOVEMENTS OF ANY PARTICULAR PHYSICAL BODY
