Original Message I never knew the facts stated in #1 and #2, Wow! pope

+ + +

1. Only 1/3 of the New Testament was written by any of the 12 Apostles. (Matt; John; I, II, III John; Rev; James, I, II Peter; Jude)

2. Only 5 of the Apostles are represented in the New Testament canon. (The Church is built on all 12 Apostles. Eph 2:4; Rev 21:14)

3. Since it was the Church itself (not the original Apostles) that determined which writings were to be accepted as Scripture, the Church (Bishops in union with Peter's chair) must have the Apostolic "gift" as it had been passed down to them from the Apostles who received it directly from Jesus Christ the Son of God.
