[quote:Anonymous Coward 1307186:MV8xNTU1MTc1XzI1NzExODM3X0Q5MTI5RDNG] The Mark of the Beast is your Debit card. It can be shut off instantly.. its hard to use cash and checks are ancient. The word "mark" as in German "mark" comes from Jesus' grandfather Dolla... where we get the word dollar... When someone would trade a goat for a wife... Someone would go to the area of the rock that represented these family's and place a mark... Marking the trade. It was the first form of currency or trade. [/quote]

If food shortages are expected and prices go through the roof, what exactly are people going to be buying and selling? What would be people's motivation for taking this Mark if they can't even afford to purchase basic groceries? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Maybe only rich people will take the mark? I would submit that many (if not most) wealthy folks
already
bear the "mark", as it boils down to merely "the love of money".
