Good insight here.  I flip between both sides of the spectrum for some reason.  Sometimes I can be cruel (not intentional, more of a reaction to certain people and emotions) and other times I can be incredibly sensitive, but it may just be my mood/pain level influencing all this.  When I'm feeling good, then nothing or nobody seems to bother me, but when I'm feeling shit, well shit spreads I guess.  It's a tough thing, and I usually avoid people altogether in those moments, but unfortunately the only thing that seems to cure those moments is a dose of love from another.  We need each other to heal.

Here recently, I'm so much more sensitive than I have ever been.
It really is overwhelming.

Yesterday, I was sitting chatting with a friend at a coffee shop. We were outside..enjoying our time togther.
Suddenly, it felt like someone had kicked me in the gut, and then I saw this caravan of vehicles/motorcycles, led by 2 police motorcycles...
As they passed by me, I was overcome with grief, and I started to cry , for no reason other than what I was feeling.
Normally I don't feel things so intensly. But yesterday, it sure was overwhelming.

I'm assuming they were in some sort of bike run/ride for someone that was either very, very sick, or had died.
I saw 1 of the windshields on a bike that said 'riding for Pat/Pat'.

My friend looked at me, like 'what is wrong?!'...because I went from sitting there smiling and laughing, to tears, in just a matter of seconds.

After the caravan was past us...that ovewhelming feeling of grief was gone too...and my tears dried up, and we went back to having our nice conversation.

Any other Empaths having this happen?
It's like someone has turned up the volume knob as far as it could possibly go.
