[quote:Anonymous Coward 1326366:MV8xNTk2MzkwXzI2MzgyNzgxX0EyNUVCMEQ2] [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] Neoconservatism in the United States is a branch of American conservatism that is most known for its advocacy of using American economic and military power to topple American enemies
They also are likely to have money in the right places in the right times in order to profit off of conflicts. [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] and promote liberal democracy in other countries.
They most certainly are liberal when it comes to finances, and they use spreading democracy as an excuse to invade sovereign countries and to further their personal agendas. [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] The movement emerged during the early 1970s among Democrats who disagreed with the party's growing opposition to the Vietnam War and had become skeptical of the Great Society's welfare programs.
It's all just lip service. The NWO, which neocons salivate for, wants everybody under their boot. This is just a way to prop up the false left/right paradigm [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] Although neoconservatives generally endorse free-market economics,
more lip service....a free market under the gun of the U.S. military, while giving their buddies key positions of power and while turning a blind eye to market corruption. [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] they often believe cultural and moral issues to be more significant,
More false left/right paradigm rhetoric. These guys totally know how to play the social conservative religious types, while giving each other reach arounds. They only care about control and manipulation of the social conservative. [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287] and so have tended to be less thorough going in opposition to government intervention in society than more traditionally conservative and libertarian members of the Republican Party.[1][2]
I have no idea of what that means, but the typical NeoCon is pro-Patriot Act, which means they would love to take your rights away, just the same as, say....Obama. Both are big government, spend happy, NWO whores. [quote:Anonymous Coward 863287]Most neoconservatives support the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.
Because they stand to profit in it and because their NWO overlords told them to support them. Plus their CEO position looks awfully attractive when they come with big bonuses.
Yeah, so I have seen it a thousand times. The word "neocon", that is. But the question is, what does it mean? Who coined it?
Maybe the reason I don't know is because I don't like Rush Limbaugh. The dude sounds like a cow that has been genetically modified to speak. However, since he has coined terms like feminazis and drive-by media, I thought he might be behind the term neocon.
I want other GLP'ers take on it.
